I have had my car washed at this car wash many many times, and have been very satisfied every time. As a matter of fact, I washed my car there last night and again it was superb service. It was friendly service to enter, and a great job drying the car at the end. I have also used their hand car wash and detail service connected to the drive-through car wash, and that was a very good job again . One thing about this place I have to tell you is they pay attention to details. Disappointing car wash. I remember when I first got my license and lived in Dearborn I would take my car here. That was 15 years ago. This place has gone downhill. The prices are outrageous and they didn't do that great of a job. I has dry streaks on the back window. The employees weren't very friendly either. Had the attitude of "the man is making me work so I'm going to drag @$$." It wasn't very busy yet still took about 25 minutes from arrival to turning into Outer Drive. That's ridiculous. If you want a good full service wash - go to Star Auto Wash on Warren Avenue. read more

I wish I had read the reviews prior to going there. The guy on towel duty was sleeping in one of the lobby chairs. The one responsible for bringing my car through the wash (after a full detail) had obviously just recently finished smoking weed. Which is fine, in a recreational situation, but dude -- MY CAR. It took almost 30 minutes to do a job that used to take 15 minutes. He actually apologized for it taking so long, but he said I was their first customer - at 11:30 am. Stay away. After requesting my car to be only hand washed, they assured me that the automated system they have would not damage my car. I told them that I have custom-painted wheels on my car and cannot afford any damage to them. After inspecting their machinery and my car, they once again told me there wouldn't be a problem. Not two seconds passed before the employee at the car wash curbed my front driver's side wheel- damaging the wheel and scraping the paint of the metal. Then the employee had the audacity of showing me a sign that said we are not responsible for aftermarket wheels. Police was called and report was filed to document the damage. Taking my business elsewhere. Sorry excuse for a car wash. read more

First visit to this place, like to support local businesses but won't return! Ordered exterior only wash which comes with door jams getting wiped clean. My doors were never opened the door jams not touched! The towel dry was sporadic leaving both of my exterior rear view mirror's dripping as well as the bottom half of the whole vehicle! AND the front of vehicle is still dirty. They did not use a brush on vehicle or completely hose it off before entering the run! Terrible quality of wash! read more

Went in for a basic car wash, which was priced hire than a normal car wash ($6). When I pulled in, they hosed the car off with just water and didn't use the soap brush to clean off the bugs from my bumper or the dirt on my car. The good part was the hand-drying, they had 5 people doing that so it was quick. However, I went and parked after to see how clean my car looked and there was dust all over the rims still, my bumper wasn't clean and there was still junk all on the side of my car. I'd compare this car wash to that of a gas station auto car wash. I wouldn't waste my money. read more

Worse car wash in the area. Waited an hour for a full service wash only three cars ahead of me. Interior vacuum was unacceptable. Interior wipe down just as poor. The manager/owner was not helpful. Offer to wash again but didn't have the time to wait. Would not offer even a partial refund. Really a zero star business read more

9/18/2018 I purchased the top of the line wash($23). They did an outstanding job but I didn't recognize it until the following day. I notice how clean the cup holders,wheels & carpet were. I would not recommend visiting this place. You will risk breaking your car. The car came out with a malfunctioning rear wiper and I had the cleaning people witnessing this. After addressing this to the owner, the owner didn't give a chance to even check or accept it. He kept on going around the impossibility of this to happen. I have never seen a business owner with such a zero responsibility to his business. I spent 24$ for a standard wipe and ended up with all this headeach. People here in Dearborn need to raise the awareness for customer service and authenticity. read more

This place stinks. Attendant drives my SUV into a large metal table in the parking lot on the way to vacuum and scratches up the front fascia. Same guy gets in after vacuuming with a cigarette in his mouth and drives to the wash. No manager or owner is there. They say,"give us your number the owner will call." Yeah I not holding my breath. Didn't put armor all on my tires even though I paid for it. Wheels were still pretty dirty after the wash

The guys here did a really good job. The lady in front of me car was extra dirty. They ran it through twice to make sure it was clean. The reason that they received a four is because the owner was kinda like standing over the workers which made me the customer in front of me and some of the workers uncomfortable. Awful. Pulled in at 8:15 am (they open at 8). Even though I could see the guys inside, nobody came outside or answered the phone until I walked up to the door. When they exited, they explained that even though two people were working, they weren't the ones to clean the interior so they could only offer an exterior wash. read more

New equipment, but the settings were terrible. It stopped rinsing when the car was 2/3 through, and the same partial job when drying. No cashier...I was the first one in line and it took almost 20-minutes to get through. And by the way, $16 was the lowest price for interior/exterior was. Stay away! read more

Unfortunately I didn't do my due diligence and read the yelp reviews before I came here. This used to be a great car wash but has obviously changed ownership since my last visit. First of all the $23 price for the ultimate wash is ridiculous in light of the service received. Glo previously offered a nice AAA discount however under their new management they are only offering $1 off (probably as a token gesture for all those people who were ticked off that the discount was eliminated). I was greeted by a man who promptly informed me that there was a tip jar at the end of the line. Ok thanks? Despite having an ample amount of workers and little business, I waited 35 minutes for the wash to be completed. The operation seems to be very disorganized. And I loved the worker who passed by me heading outside saying "They're arguing like a bunch of females!" then opened the door and shouted "You all need to shut the f*#% up!!" Classy!! The equipment on the line seems minimal at best, with little scrubbing action to peel off the grime of our brutal Michigan winters. I remember a lot more cleaning machinery on the line when I came here in the past. However in the end my exterior cleaning was definitely superior to the interior cleaning. Quite a few obviously dirty areas were missed in the interior and also some pools of water left behind. Nothing like heading home and needing to clean the interior of your car after having just paid $22 for the "ultimate wash"! Never again. read more

I have been going to this car wash for over 30 years. Every car I've owned I've taken there. After my 3rd and latest visit, it may be my last. For my F-150 to get washed and vacuumed it's $16. I don't have an issue so much with the price if the service and experience was better. Used to be, pulled your car in 2 guys vacuumed, sprayed your car down and then sent it down the line. Now, they have triple the vacuums, double the manpower (sometimes) and it's the longest wait ever. I said I've been there 3 times this year and waited an average of 25 min. That's over an hour spent there. I haven't spent that much time in there in all the time I've been going. Once the wash was over, 6 guys tackled the drying. That took another 10 mins. I had to beg the last 2 guys to wipe the bottom interiors of all 4 doors that were still filthy dirty. There is no cashier this last visit. A guy (owner probably) takes your cash before your sent darting through a maze of vacuum hoses and moving vehicles.. I saw an elderly woman made to get out of her car yards away from the building, only to have to step over hoses, and almost be hit by a worker trying to get the next car on the wash tracks. The owner thinks he's found an easy way to make money on nice days.. I'm all for supporting local business, but this one needs fixing before I go back! Find another car wash!! read more

This used to be a good car wash. I happily brought my cars here for over 30 years. Never again. The customer service is horrible. Believe the negative reviews given here and stay away. The attendants did not do a complete job of drying my SUV--they left behind wet, soapy residue around the windows and the bumper, and they did not open and wipe down the door edges. The rear windshield wiper was knocked out of alignment and cracked. It is sad to say, but the new owner has ruined this place and I won't be surprised if they go out of business this year. read more

I refuse to go back to that car wash , I paid $16 to have my car vacuumed on the inside and wiped down. I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes assuming my car is being cleaned because that's what I paid for and asked for . When I got in my car I noticed the workers didn't even go inside the vehicle . Nothing was cleaned. I called the owner and he was nice about it however after going back the second time they did a poor job. I will not enter that car wash ever again! read more

Paid $23 for an ultimate wash which includes vacuuming the interior. Paid, and waited, waited, waited, waited, went back to find my car sitting at the vacuums with no one working on it - the lone worker was spending 10 - 15 minutes vacuuming the car ahead of mine, with another one waiting on the other side. I finally gave up and demanded my money back, got it, flipped off the owner and left. Won't ever go back, there are better, CHEAPER places minutes away. Glo used to have vacuums right on the entry line, now they are set apart and your car goes there first and sits. read more

I have been a customer of Glo Auto Wash for 15 years. No longer - today was my last time. I have noticed over the last few months a distinct drop in service. Today I ordered the Super Wash Complete - $14. Exterior cleaning, interior cleaning, tire/mag cleaning. They did not even clean off the seats, the front floor mat still has salt stains, the front grill is filthy, the rims were not cleaned. This is not the first time, but I've been trying to give them a chance to improve because they are a local business, and I've been a customer for years. Apparently, the quality of service is totally gone. I am looking for a new full service car wash who will give me what I pay for. read more
