Glik's is the shop you would expect to find in a beach town…read more The clothing in the store seem to be targeted towards men that golf and younger women / teen girls. I stopped by Glik's because my husband forgot a few clothing items. They have a fairly decent selection of items for men such as polos, swim trunks, jeans, and other miscellaneous basic items. Glik's does have a lot of trendy clothes (I saw barrel jeans) while also having a ton of basics for anyone that forgot items. The items in the store are a little more pricey. I found quite a few items that I personally liked and decided to purchase. The staff at Glik's was friendly and let me into the dressing room numerous times. The inside of the dressing rooms are massive. I previously was going to rate Glik's 4 or 5 stars just based off the ease of finding my items and the staff friendliness but I actually got to wear one of the tops I purchased from them... the top was a basic fitted long sleeve shirt that was priced at $8 (I thought it was pricey based on the top but it fit really well). I wore the shirt for an hour and noticed the shirt started tearing along the sleeve (attached a photo) and started developing holes (attached a photo). Unfortunately I already took the price tag off prior to the shirt starting to fall apart. This shirt is Shein level quality but being up-charged because of the area. I purchased a few of these shirts so I'm disappointed in the quality. I've shopped at cheaper stores like Primark and those clothes have lasted longer than this shirt and they price their tops at no than $5. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I wouldn't buy the higher priced items if basic shirts fall apart like it's made out of tissue paper.

Everyday wear for teens and twenty-somethings, but I'm immature so I occasionally find something…read moreage inappropriate that I adore here. The prices seem super steep for their target demographic, however. Found a short-sleeved shirt I was thinking about for my husband but even on the clearance rack it was $40. They also have some adorable beach floats but I can't concieve of spending over $50 for something that will inevitable pop sometime.

Cute, soft leggings? Check. Gorgeous summery flowy dresses? Check. Fair trade handmade earrings…read morefrom Central America? Check. Lots of options for flattering jeans? Yep. Awesome helpful sales gals? Check. Reasonably priced? Yes. Stacked sales and clearance racks? Yes. Better than any mall store?! Yes yes yes! Ok so I really had so much fun shopping in here! During my sunny beautiful weekend in Leelanau county, I was taking a break from all my adventures in the sun and went shopping. I had been in a few haystacks and while I liked their clothes and accessories nothing really stood out to me. However I loved the styles at Cottonseed. I like to describe my style as something like boho chic or ethnic and they had a ton of cute styles that flattered my tough-to-shop-for figure. After nearly an hour running in and out of the fitting room and numerous convos soliciting advice from the nice workers there, I finally found a cute pink linen simple dress with ruffles at the edges, soft white leggings to go with it and fair trade glass earrings from Guatemala. I really had the hardest time picking out which earrings to buy, I wish I could have gotten more! They were all gorgeous. The prices were a little higher than what I would have liked to pay, but still reasonable for being a boutique in a nicer town like glen arbor. When I visit northern mi again I am excited to check this store out again!

In addition to great fashion looks for women of all ages, we also spied stuffed animals and unique gift items for children. Displays are created with obvious talent or design. Even when I am not buying (but I did) I love browsing through pretty!
