The Dokumentation Obersalzberg is a small museum for those who enjoy WWll history and the extended…read more information on Hitler. It's in German so you will need to do an audio tour. There are two floors of photos, audio clips, maps, films and hundreds of paper documents. The employees are very nice and attempt to speak English when speaking to patrons from the USA.
I do not recommend bringing young children. The photos are graphic and the material is harsh. It's not a feel good kind of place.
We quickly ran through the museum and spent the majority of our time down in the bunker. It was spread out and there was a plaque that explained each room and what is was used for.
