I couldn't believe how $$ it was but I haven't bought paint I forever so I figured yikes but this must be what it costs. Today I used the paint. I am so disappointed in the lack of quality. I was painting white over another previously painted white that had yellow hue I did t like. So easy, right? White over white? Well it's going to need another coat. The paint had such high odor. I felt nauseous and had to stop .the paint didn't cover the molding nicely. It's got streaks , dark areas light areas. It splattered a little .I'll have to do the whole thing over again tomorrow. I plan on visiting the store to discuss a fair resolution. BTW sane paint $20 LESS at Home Depot. So while I still feel it's so important to support local small businesses I do not advocate getting ripped off and steered wrong. I hope they will make it right.

We saw our immediate neighbors' homes brutalized by Long Island Sound. The shutters 100% did a superior job. We decided to complete the protection of the house by installing shutters on the remaining windows and doors. Mark came out to measure promptly and within a short time, he installed them. In our extensive years as multiple home owners, we have seen our share of inferior craftsmen. Mark gives homeowners hope. Yes, that perfect installer does ,indeed, exist. He easily could have up-sold me for more than I needed, but instead, made suggestions on what would best suit my needs and budget.. I made my selections, and he took laser measurements for the two windows I was having new shades made for. He told me there would be a 3-4 week lead time from the manufacturer, since they are custom made to fit each application. About three weeks after he first came to measure, he returned and installed the new shades. He worked very cleanly, putting down a small quilt on my floor to prevent damage and dirt. I absolutely could not be happier with the shades or his workmanship. These folks are friendly, very professional and a pleasure to do business with. And as always, you get what you pay for.
