I lived in Glenard while I was doing my PhD. It was a very enriching experience. Doing a PhD can be a stressing time but the fact that I lived in Glenard helped me to cope with the ups and downs of my research and the loneliness of it. I had friendly faces around me, people I could share with about my research and life in general. The food was good and pretty healthy and the fact that I didn't have to worry about cooking and doing my laundry helped me to focus on my study. The most important thing for me was the friendly atmosphere and the thoughtfulness of those in charge of the residence. I got very moved when a lovely Spanish dinner and a birthday cake were made on my birthday. It was a period in my life I will never forget.
I really recommend living in Glenard. read more
