Our tour bus had an appointment for a sheep dog presentation. It was amazing! Then we had fresh scones and coffee/tea which were so delightful. The little boy played the piano so great. I tasted the Glen Keen Irish Cream Liquor and it was phenomenal but I couldn't fit another item in my checked luggage. I was so disappointed. Is there anyway to mail order it or find it in St Loui. We had an amazing time at the farm! The demonstration was very informative and the dogs, Glenn and Sweep were amazing!! Everyone there is so welcoming. They make you feel like family! I can still smell the delicious scones! If you have the chance to stop by I would highly recommend you do so!!! read more

Our tour bus made a stop here. We were not excited about this stop but were we wrong! This was one of the highlights of our trip. We were treated to a sheep dog demonstration which we very much enjoyed. It was fun to watch and educational. Inside the cafe, we had fresh scones with clotted cream, jam and tea. We spent 15 days in Ireland, had scones (at least once) everyday and these were the best in Ireland! The farm stand cafe atmosphere was delightful. (check out the fine antiques). This was one of the best stops on our tour of Ireland! The owners are amazing people, incredibly warm, welcoming, and obviously passionate about their farm and work! Watching the sheep dog trials was fascinating--it obviously takes years of work and it was just so neat to see this specialized skill done right front of me. What a great insight into the Irish sheep farm life! There is also a cafe and gift shop on the grounds, and the shop includes a lot of stuff (crafts, jewelry, weaving, paintings, etc.) from local people. They also have a really nice selection of coffee, teas, and scones...and the scones were served with fresh clotted cream and jam! I have dietary restrictions, and it turns out they even have gluten free options available, which was just another unexpected perk of the visit. The cafe staff were just as friendly and personable as the owners, and it was really nice to just sit in warm cafe and enjoy a quiet moment in the beautiful countryside. I can't say enough about both the people and the place--this was by far one of my favorite parts of the trip! I highly encourage everyone to take the time to visit! read more
