The location was very convenient to the town, walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and the bed and pillows were SO comfy. We also had a nice view of the water and boats from the room, which was a bonus. However, the balcony hadn't been cleaned off in a while as there were lots of bugs and cobwebs. The hotel also offers Starbucks coffee on each floor every morning! The breakfast on the patio was good, but the service was a little slow. We also enjoyed happy hour on the patio one night though --the crab dip was delicious, and the espresso martini was excellent. A couple of things to know before your stay: there aren't complimentary bottled waters in the room, but the front desk is happy to provide them if you ask. The hotel also doesn't have a late-night market or convenience area for drinks and snacks, which would have been nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend The Harbour Hotel for anyone visiting Clayton.

Breakfast food and service excellent. Large portions. Starbucks coffee free, front desk in morning fantastic. Makes no sense, you can bring free coffee into Restaurant but if you order it with breakfast, $5.00. Front desk, Jacob evening fantastic. Some daytime staff at desk unfriendly and so, so. Shower, no cold water in couple rooms, some only hot water. Still overall recommended. Nice pool and hottub. Large event space and easy parking. Ps Robes are very nice and worth $75. If you need one.

The tv was very small, pillows are so very thin and not fluffy. The outside pool was dirty so we didn't use it. Paid $150 dollars for a way overpriced dump. Would never stay there again. Paint was chipped everewhere deck, pool. There is no maintenace done to this place in all areas of the place. We went.to the room unpacked and we both took a shower and my wife being the second one in there saw mold on the walls ceiling around windows. So called the front desk and said had to wait for morning to talk to the manager. At this point, it was late and did not feel like arguing. Watched a bit of tv which is so outdated by the way. And then i saw my wifes eyes in desperation. When she removed the covers of the bed to slide in she noticed stains on the sheet. Not just regular stains. What looked like shit and blood stains that was washed and put back in the bed. This place can't even afford to change the sheets once stained not to mention the bugs. We could not believe how this place was run down. So we packed up our things at 11pm to for somewhere else to stay all the while they said there will be no refund until we talk to manager in the morning which by the way he said he will only refund me one night of the 2 booked if i do not give a bad review. I cannot in good conscience have peple rely on my non comment about this place. Pleae please please find somewhere else to stay. Such a bad business!!

Finding the entrance was like a game of hide-and-seek gone wrong. There's no signage, zero lighting, and walking back at night from the main street feels more like the opening scene of a horror movie than a relaxing vacation. It's eerie, deserted, and downright creepy. The restaurant? Only serves dinner--no breakfast, no lunch. Good luck figuring out when it opens, though. When I asked the teenage staff at Pointe Grill, they stared at me blankly before going back to fishing and smoking off the dock directly in front of the entrance. It was like interrupting their hangout spot, not asking a simple question as a paying guest. The property itself is in serious decline. Dirty, dank, and reeking of cigarettes and mildew. The smell hits you immediately, as do the scattered cigarette butts littering the grounds. It's clear that upkeep is not a priority. To their credit, the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming--but that level of service unfortunately doesn't extend to the rest of the establishment. The rooms with a view of Boldt Castle might sound romantic, but step inside and it's like walking into a forgotten relic of the 1970s. The decor is outdated to the point of being uncomfortable: mirrored walls, an aging jacuzzi, and cheap, bubbling vinyl flooring that looks like it was installed by someone's cousin over a weekend. The door to our room didn't even seal properly--it looked like it had been kicked in at least once, maybe more. The balcony was filthy, crawling with bugs, covered in vines, and in desperate need of a power wash. The railing was rickety and rusted--definitely not somewhere you'd want to linger with a drink in hand. As for amenities, the hot water took a full ten minutes to arrive, which felt symbolic of the overall experience: slow, neglected, and not worth the wait. For the price per night, this place is a complete letdown. It feels more like a rundown roadside motel than the getaway it pretends to be. Skip it. There are far better options in the area that actually care about their guests--and their property.
