If they have run out of stock they will order it for you, call you about how the order is going and of course when it has arrived, place things under the counter for you, all the things that make a great service, efficient and friendly. The reason I have to lower the rating is more to do with product cost. I have been reviewing places and business' around Auckland for the past six weeks and have had the opportunity to compare some prices of products that I like to have in stock regularly, this includes the Braggs All Purpose Seasoning. Greenville Organics in Takapuna (the 'rich' end of town) sell it for $11.16, 473ml, Health 2000 in New Lynn sell it for $20, same size. What is going on guys? That is a huge price difference, one that can't be ignored. I should mention that the average I have seen it priced in smaller organic stores has been approx. $13.

I invest truckloads in natural cosmetics and health products because being "healthy" means alot to me. Natural retail experts are genuinely interested in keeping people well and happy. Of course they have full prescription services, and pharmacists to assist with your medial queries. They also have the full range of pharmacy related health and beauty stands and products, but whoever is responsible for the gifts in store does a great job. I always find the ideal thing for a friend or family member here. They've got things like photo frames, pamper products, earring holders, soaps and perfumes you get the idea. I just love looking over the shelves and picking up something special from this full stocked pharmacy. My advice is to forget about the stress of shopping for gifts from the mall and pop in here because their range will surprise you.

Mother reports the doctors, nurses and receptionists are all still lovely and while the doctors do change over the years, she is always happy with the care and attention she receives. The pharmacy is right next door for absolute convenience to fill those prescriptions. I noticed that the pharmacy shelves were rather sparsely stocked however the essential items were in store. Staff were very friendly when I filled mum's prescription.

The mean doctor man wouldn't let me see my mum because he thought that would just make me cry more, yank yank yank. It was awful. And I remember the reception ladies being mean as well and they all made me feel like I was being a baby because I had "a few stitches" in my foot. I was eight! God damn. Hopefully they have new doctors and new reception ladies. Otherwise I would never ever go there.

It's usually a 10 minute wait to get the prescription filled and the time goes by so quickly because I browse the shelves. They stock a good selection of hair products like brushes and hair ties along with the good old hair lice treatment which every family with young children may need to access from time to time. They have sun glasses, make-up, soaps, oral care products, first aid, health supplements and more. If you need to pick up a gift for any age group your needs might be met at this pharmacy.

They, impressively, have a weekly service where every Wednesday someone from the pharmacy couriers medicines for home deliveries! so, if for any reason you're unable to go to the pharmacy to pick up your meds, you can have them delivered to you. I have a lot of pain/health issues I deal with that make it really hard to go out so Im crazy grateful they do deliveries (the lady who does the deliveries is soo lovely too) The wait times aren't long either! From the moment the pharmacy receives your script it doesn't take them any longer than 20 mins to get it ready for you (usually) This is anecdotal, I'm on a vital medicine that prevents a health issue I have from flaring up and sending me to hospital but this medicine isn't subsidised or stocked in NZ so it has to be shipped in from overseas every month & that usually takes a few weeks. It's important that I don't run out of these meds before the next refill has been shipped to NZ - I communicated that priority with the pharmacy and have since worked as hard as they can to make sure the moment I pick this medicine up from them that they order in the next refill so it's guaranteed to be available in time for my next refill. This medicine is quite expensive as it's not subsidised and the pharmacy are trusting & patient re payment; they're fine with me doing a bank transfer to pay them & have never rushed me for my payment, in fact they've always made it clear I could take some time to make the payment. I truely can't recommend Henderson discount pharmacy enough, the service is great & quick, the staff are understanding and accommodating, lest we forget they do weekly medicine deliveries which i adore and honestly it's a serious shame that all pharmacies don't offer that service because let's say you're sick and can't leave the house? Old and can't drive? Disabled/mobility impairments? Mental illness that makes it hard to leave the house? Overworked parent/person who doesn't have time to get to the pharmacy before 6pm closing time? Medical services should be as accommodating as possible and I appreciate this pharmacy for actively being as accommodating as possible Another anecdote! On one occasion I went to pick up my meds & when I got there they couldn't find the package. All the staff stopped what they were doing and spent an hour nearly turning the store upside down just looking for my meds (they found them) I know that sounds like normal procedure but if that had happened at my last pharmacy they would've looked for less than a minute and subsequently would've somehow blamed me for the missing package. Just want to show people that they don't have to settle for horrible pharmacies, great ones exist and this is one of them :)

Now, the store was a little busy with people in obvious need of some sort of medical treatment (as is not uncommon in West Auckland) and this rowdy clamouring may have distracted the staff members there. Thankfully when I asked if they stocked moustache wax, I had already had my morning coffee. As they handed me Nad's Facial Wax (women's hair removal strips) they apologised they didn't have male specific products. I chuckled and left, noting the prices for Nad's and other store products aren't any cheaper than other pharmacy's. (Strangely they did have hair wax directly above the Nad's- try the Shaver Shop on Pitt St for more moustachioed treats.)
