However, in this case, the owner is so kind and wonderful, as well as an incredible artist I want people to see her creations. Her husband is also an amazing artisan and wood craftsman. The owner and staff are welcoming and not "high brow" and don't make you feel like you need to buy something, although even buying a small postcard, helps out the artist. If you are in Glen Arbor this summer, you must stop at this little out-of-the-way place on top of it the location of the art studio and the interior is absolutely magnificent. She paid no mind to me or the other (all white) people in the shop except to greet them, so we left before buying anything because we felt so uncomfortable. Coming here was always a big part of my childhood so i'm so shocked and saddened by the racist behavior. no other shops in Glen Arbor acted this way. There's lots of great galleries here, we won't be hitting this one again.

Prices run the gamut, but you can find some really great pieces on sale occasionally. Anyone from a kid to an adult with cash to burn can find something lovely to bring home from here. I've purchased so many pieces from here over the years, from small, whimsical animal prints, to a highly decorated full sized map of the area. I wanted a little bit of everything, for sure, but ultimately exhibited some rare self-restraint and only purchased a cute M-22 hat! :) I wear it all the time now! The workers were so friendly and I can't wait to come back and probably buy up their collection of dog leashes and collars because I'm still thinking about it to this day! :)
