Glastonbury offers an art walk, whereby you can walk around the high street and nearby streets to view street art yourself. I did not do the walk, but being an artist myself I noticed a lot of art murals - see pictures.
Here is some information about it.
The Glastonbury Mural Trail brings together over 50 (and growing) visual masterpieces, around our unique and vibrant town. Take a look at some of them in the gallery at the bottom of the page. The murals appear on shops, pubs, businesses, homes and other points of interest and they're all lovingly created by talented local artists.
The trail was opened in Autumn of 2019, with the official unveiling of this stunning piece by international artist, Jonathan Minshull, who also painted our Somerset landscape mural near the pond on the campsite.
It was an absolute honour for Old Oaks to sponsor Jonathan, because it meant we could not only support a local talent, but also get involved in this wonderful community project. This mural which can now be seen at the Glastonbury Tourist Information Centre, which is also where you can pick up a copy of the trail map.
We may also have some copies in our own tourist information room at the park. Alternatively, you can download your own copy here. More information can be found on the official website read more
