What a jerk. I called at 930am on Sunday and he said he was asleep and would get back to me in a few minutes. Did not get any call back from him until he saw my bad Yelp review the end of the next day. Then he posted wrong info about my car and that I was "grumpy" and that I called him at 6am when I actually called him at 930am. Would not trust this guy to do any work on your vehicle. He could have just called and apologized. Go somewhere to get the work done. If you're ok with getting work done from a liar and someone who is only concerned about customers or potential customers when they post a negative review then you have the right guy. Like I said, there are a lot of glass repair people out there that value their customers. Did you notice that he advertises open 24/7?? I guess 730am or 930am is not part of 24/7 and response time of 5 hours means 36 hours. He also left me a snotty voicemail after seeing the bad review. Awesome work! Fast, courteous, friendly, and excellent quality! He's a bit of a perfectionist which is awesome because it means you get a top-quality job! I think all auto people should be perfectionists. The job took just over an hour, and without any issues. He used a high-qualityoriginal OEM windshield and seal which included the rain sensor. I watched the whole time, and he did an awesome job. I would definitely hire him again! You can see in my picture, my BMW, I have a really nice and fancy car and still think he did an AMAZING job! In fact, it looks the same or better than from factory! He was very friendly and sociable, and had no problem with me standing there watching what he did and asked questions. He made me feel very comfortable with his work, and it was very clear he is very experienced and really know what he is doing. I was able to have my complete windshield replaced only the next day after it was broken! Also, he trimmed my cracking bottom cowling(at no cost!) below the windshield by trimming it up which made a big difference! He also offered a suggestion for me to re-adhere the peeling fabric on the front interior pillars, which was awesome because I had some of the adhesive at home and was able to do it with the windshield out while he worked! Because with the windshiled in it would have been hard to adhere the fabric without doing a bunch of work removing the pillars, so I was very happy for the suggestion! Best of all, there is no charge for him to come to you! He comes right to you and does the work then and there, so you don't have to drive to an auto shop with a broken windshield (or pay any towing fees)! (which would be dangerous, so it's way better to have it fixed where you are at!) The competitor charges $25 extra to come to you, but Glassfixx comes to you for FREE! I made the trek from the Valley down to the beach and before I got there a huge rock from a truck bounced off the highway and straight into my windshield and cracked it pretty good and scared the crap out of me. I was able to get off the freeway and was comfortable enough on side streets, but not comfy enough to hit highway speeds so I called the local repair shop and they were able to fix me up and I enjoyed some time at the beach while they worked. Quick! Nice! Accommodating! Professional! Derrick was awesome! I called him around 10am to get a crack in my windshield repaired and by 2pm that day he came to me while I was at work, fixed my windshield, and had it done before I was off. He fixed the small crack and also filled in another chip in the windshield he found at no extra charge. And he did it all in the rain with a smile. Horrible Quality of Work! He was a nice enough guy but when my job was done there was a visible gap between the roof pillar and windshield. I pointed it out but he said that it was normal. When I took the car in for service and asked about the windshield gap he stated that it was absolutely not replaced properly. As a side note I believe he uses very low quality replacement windshields because ever since he replaced the windshield a film builds up inside and is nearly impossible to clean completely. I guess that could also be because the windshield is not sealed properly. I just had my Yukon XL windshield replaced at SafeLite and even though it was slightly more $ the work was impeccable and everthing is sealed and looks like new. This windshield was replaced about 6 months ago and I decided to write the review after getting my Yukon windshield replaced and seeing what a proper windshield replacement should be. read more

Unfortunately I have had to replace my windshield twice within the last 2 years. Derrick did an excellent job the first time and I should have left a review. He was able to come out the next day and get the job done at my workplace so I did not have any down time. A year later I called him again and I made a mistake and told him the wrong model of my truck. He picked up the windshield, but because the information was incorrect he knew it wouldn't fit. He had to go back across town to exchange, but was still able to get the job done for me that day without being upset at me (I would have been!). He is an honest owner, who does an excellent job!
