Terrible! Just terrible! I gave them a big order - 23 pieces to be exact - of mirror glass…read moremeasurements and I ordered them as basic as ever and they still got the order wrong!! They got HALF of the order wrong!! (The other half was in one size). Crazy thing is that I sent them The measurements in cm and inches! And I'm not talking about mm or cm bigger, I mean INCHES bigger!! That's a huge difference!! And a huge inconvenience!! I don't understand why the SPECIFIC measurements I ordered came all wrong! And to top it off, there reps had asked me why I did not measure each piece before using them?? How does this question even make sense?? It was a specific measurement ordered.. I should not have to!! I gave them the chance to fix the order - I reached out several times- But In nooo way were they interested in fixing there mistakes. Customer Service ZERO!! To add, there prices are no different than anywhere else, there location was just more convenient at that time, and I was going to refer a lot of clients to them ( I even filled out a business form to register with them) but they just ended up costing me more because I now had to fix there mistakes!! God forbid if you have an issue with your order, I've never seen such a lack in customer service support

We visited the showroom after finding Shower Door of Canada on-line. We were renovating our master…read morebathroom shower stall and wanted to go with a frameless door. We decided to visit their showroom as we wanted to physically see various options available. While the showroom is not massive - it's laid out to maximize space and act as a showcase for different glass, handles, hinges, etc. We met with Tony Katz and arranged for a site measurement the following day. We also discussed costs based on options (handles, etc). Their prices were very reasonable for the quality of their product. Tony came out the next day as promised and took measurements...he was a pleasure to deal with.....we discussed not only options for the hardware for the door, heights, etc., but also his heritage and an certain unheralded singer from Detroit (Sixto Rodriquez) who is popular in Tony's native country of South Africa. I could have chatted to him all day! Our order was placed that day and a turnaround time discussed. While the shower door took almost 4 weeks from ordering time to delivery and installation, the time frame worked with our plans as our bathroom was still a "construction zone" and the time frame allowed for us to complete the project prior to installation of the door. Our installer, Eugene, arrived ahead of schedule and had the door installed in less than 45 minutes. He was courteous (took shoes of at door, explained what he was doing, offered suggestions) and more importantly, cleaned up after himself. All in all, a pleasurable experience dealing with a company that values customer service.

Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the girls at the front kept messing up my order so I would get to the back and be given the wrong product. I had a custom tempered glass panel made for a fireplace in my old loft, and recently I had a custom shower door and mirrors installed in my new home and I couldn't be happier and I was glad I didn't waste my money by doing it through the builder. I also have been recommending Gilbert Glass to my friends and neighbours with no hesitations. I'm proud to say that Gilbert has grown his business and moved to larger facilities in Scarborough but still services the downtown area. My last install Richard and his assistant installed my shower glass and he was very friendly, professional and courteous. My bathroom had thick and large pieces of commercial-grade porcelain tiles on the wall which made installing the shower door especially hard to install. I was really worried that the tile may crack but Richard managed to drill through the tile for the shower door hinges perfectly, which involved going through half a dozen special drill bits and hours of careful drilling. I really appreciated his hard work, while still keeping a positive composure without any complaints despite the difficult and lengthy installation. I have a couple more projects for my home which I will definitely be calling Gilbert to custom fabricate for me.
