This is my wife's account of what happened to my daughter. "So Thursday night I bring my daughter to get her eyebrows waxed at Glamour Secrets in the Moncton mall. When we got home & checked closer the top layer of her skin was gone in one spot so I called the store they tell me to bring her in tomorrow so they could see. We go in tonight & talk to the same girl who agrees with me that this shouldn't have happened. A 2nd girl comes over, looks at it & says "oh yeah that's a burn from the wax". They then offer to do her next waxing for free, I tell them no I just want my $ back. The owner comes over, seems sympathetic & asks some questions one being is she on any medication to witch I tell her only something for acid reflux. She offers a free eye waxing But I just want my $ back. Then she says no because that's a sensitivity of the skin from the medication & they don't give refunds. I tell her she's been on this medication for years & has been getting her brows waxed for a long time but no I'm wrong & the medication is responsible this. Well no one asked if she was on medication so she tells me they would have asked me on the sheet, sheet what sheet? I didn't fill anything out. Oh yes you did she says & goes to a computer where she searches for a bit then starts looking through a binder. After a few mins she walks over doesn't say a word just staring at me & puts a receipt & $ in my hand. So we leave. I get into the hall & realize she didn't give me all the $ so I go back in to find them all huddled together talking about it like it's amusing! So I say "now I'm just insulted, you didn't give me the full amount" she says in a condescending tone that mistakes can be made & she's not a thief & that I was calling her one. I say that's not what I said, I just wanted an apology & my $ back. Now she's yelling & says you might as well be calling me a thief. I tell her ok just stop, stop & give me my $. She then says "no you stop you're in MY store YOU can stop & get out now." Excuse me? I'm your client & look at my daughters eye! I got the rest of my $ & left. That is the last time I get my eyebrows done at Glamour Secrets. I tell them it felt like it took skin off and the girl working treated me like an idiot while her and the other employees were busy talking bad behind other customers' backs... then I got a good look when I got home. Thanks a lot. Rip my skin off and treat me like shit at the same time. Awesome. read more

I had the misfortune of going here for supplies as my sister was out of town. The attitude here is toxic and mostly towards the costumers. It was one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had in my life and I was just picking up hair products. I felt like an inconvenience that I asked a question and then was answered to like I was an idiot. read more

Surprised by these reviews. I've been getting my eyebrows done here every three weeks for 7 years, never had a problem. Have never had anything but excellent customer service on top of that. read more
