I was first exposed to Spade and Archer because I attended an open house for a home that was BEAUTIFULLY staged. Seriously -- the staging stood out to me more than parts of the actual home did! Needless to say, when it came time for me to try to sell my home, S&A was top of my list. I knew staging my home would be challenging. It's an old house, and a lot of the rooms are narrow and long. I also knew it would be important to stage the home in such a way that the furniture would complement some of my home's turn of the century features. Well, reader, Spade and Archer absolutely, 100% delivered. They were friendly, easy to work with, and seamless in their set up and take down of the staging. Plus -- my house sold in 4 days! I would happily work with them again, and have nothing but great things to say about their aesthetic choices and approach to business.

This agency understands buyers and how to manufacture demand. Combined with a good agent, you'll be successful. Our experience was great. The designer provided frank suggestions but left final decisions up to us and our budget. He was upfront and crystal clear about the process. Our eclectic taste was complimented but neutralized in order to get us a fantastic return in the sale. That funky light we love? 80% of buyers don't love it and the buyer is the one who counts. The buyer wants to see THEM in the space, not YOU. The execution team was on time, professional, and thorough. Lovely people. The result: Sold in 7 days after a bidding war for $45K over asking. We beat every single non-Spade & Archer staged comp in a 1-mile radius in a red-hot market. If and when we move next, this will be my first call after my agent.

I worked with Margret, the owner of the company on both consultations. I'm a return customer. 1st time was to pick out interior colors and was satisfied with receiving them with in a couple days. I was told it was nice to work with me and looked forward to helping further on my remodel. I had a second consultation to pick home exterior paint colors as our home was being resided a month. During the, "consultation" this timeline was explained to her and she said no problem. After waiting over a month with no response I contacted the company and the owner, Margret, sent me this email... "Got your message from the office and sorry - this has been unfinished in my drafts and I just have been too busy with consultations and remodeling to wrap up. No charge for the visit and sorry - I just am better to focus on the work I have lined up and here." I replied to her I had the contractors her putting up siding and really needed the color choices. She replied "sorry, I'm going on vacation and cannot help you." In an email response. I'm honestly just floored. Agains, if you have money invested in projects and are looking for professionals... this IS NOT the company to go with. I truly just thought they forgot to send the colors over, not she just decided like a game without telling me she had no intentions on helping me after I took a day off to to meet with her at my house consultation. ‍‍‍‍ I will definitely update this post including recommendation to a professional company patrons can use for staging and remodeling choices because you deserve better! We had been using…read moreOn Stage previously, and their prices and inflexibility the past year was getting to be too much. While Simply stage NW's prices are competitive to the market, it's their customer service, attention to detail, and their creative designs that have me using this company for our listings, as well as rehab projects. The owner of the company is the driving force behind why they have been this successful in my opinion. A woman who is dedicated to her craft obsessively. She works long hours to ensure we are taken care of. This is high class staging at an affordable price in my opinion. I certainly hope as this company grows, they maintain that edge by continuing to be affordable. IN addition to staging, I took a chance and had them design my flat. The process took about 2 weeks with constant communication regarding furniture colors, artwork, and even down to kitchen/bathroom decor. Being a newly single dad needed a design that would encompass both a modern feel, but also fluid to feel like home for my son. Once this was all done, she and her team came to my home, assembled the furniture, and removed all the old items. I probably could have sold the other stuff, but the convenience of her team removing was well worth the time it would take me to post the other items online. What impressed me the most was the high level of communication, and their obvious nature to please. There were a few towels I wasn't too thrilled about in the bathrooms, she had new towels replaced within days. Anyway, that was my experience....

During the day of staging, both of them were here for the whole day (I staged 70% of my house) to ensure that every room is styled nicely. Oh, all the lighting was set on timers to turn on and off at a certain time. I'd definitely use them again. If you are looking for a staging company, you should check them out. They were a new business I believe in the past couple years and have really grown due to great service. I have seen their inventory almost triple as they are very diligent in planning every home uniquely to give it the best potential to be sold. Unlike some stagers who just put the same furniture together every time to make it easier. Dawn and Diane go out of their way. After they set up the home fully I always feel like I'm in a magazine because it all looks so perfect. Keep it up ladies! Oh and I remember asking them if they still rearranged at home after starting the biz. I knew the answer would be of course, quite often and it was because it always feels like they have fun staging the homes:)

This was our first experience with On Stage. Their furniture and furnishings, though not high-end, were adequate and the few rooms which they did furnish, worked well. But our issue is this: They knew our budget and they promised to work within that budget. What they essentially did was a bait and switch on the price and the number of rooms we agreed that they would furnish. The wanted more money at the last minute. This underhanded tactic was employed by the company two days before the house was to be listed and available for showings. And, only three days before its Open House; Something On Stage was acutely aware of. Further, the company's rep misrepresented the daily rate should the furnishings be in the house over the term of the 30-day contract. The amended deal was now $6 more for each day! Our realtor, who was equally displeased, said that because of the late date, it would be impractical to try and get another staging company to come out the house with a new offer. As a consequence, we felt that On Stage coerced us into signing an agreement which they knew was not what we initially consented to nor what we mutually agreed upon. There are other staging companies out there which I have to believe are more ethical when dealing with their clients than is On Stage
