I am a sole parent and my son's medical needs are considerable and complex with multiple specialists involved. I took my son to the clinic last week. I was very concerned about him with considerable blood in his urine. The GP seemed uninterested. Didn't even examine him and took other calls during the appointment. He recommended a few tests, but no recommendations or any acknowledgement of how worried I was. . My son is still unwell, I called to see if there was any results to be told that the doctor wouldn't even look at the results unless I made another appointment. The first appointment is a few days time. He had my son's history but didn't know his current medications. Generally, I have been quite disappointed with this clinic. The doctors are dismissive and quite unsympathetic. The reception staff are very helpful but appear unsupported and don't seem to have the doctors respect. I don't like changing as it takes a while to bring a new doctor unto speed with my son's complex health and to keep the communication flowing between the multiple specialists. I will take my son to the hospital this time, but it is worrying that I don't have confidence in his GP. I little help from the GP to make this challenging journey a little easier would have been appreciated.

This clinic is open til 7:30 weekdays, and on weekends until 6 and 5 respectively. It's a seven day per week, conveniently accessible clinic (train station less than 500 metres away, bus station across the road, car parking out front). They accept new patients wholeheartedly, offer a walk in service and bulk bill. PLUS, pathology and naturopath as well. Shit. If it wasn't in Broady town everyone would go here.

She was cold and tried to pry his mouth open to inspect his throat. She split his lips and it started to bleed. I told her to stop as he was very upset and she said "do you want me to look at his throat or not?". My husband had the flu and she asked him to open his mouth to inspect his throat whilst standing 2 meters away! She shouldn't be a doctor if she treats people based in their skin Color. If you are not too fussy on who you see you shouldn't have too much trouble getting an appointment with a GP. The staff on the front desk are very efficient and friendly. There is a car park out the back of the building and you can get a token after your appointment. For an extra fee you can have a 'drop in' appointment. The waiting area is clean and tidy with magazines and a TV if you need a distraction while you wait.
