I went to a wedding at the Glade Gallery back in January and enjoyed the experience all-around. First off, it's located in the heart of The Woodlands, very close to the Waterway District. All of those bars and restaurants are within walking distance or a super short drive. They also have ample parking which is always a plus. Part of what makes the Glade Gallery cool is it's an art gallery at its core. Even if you're there for a social event or something like a wedding as I was, having artwork in the backdrop makes for a fun ambiance. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and he's a great guy. They now have a full bar license so it makes for a different experience than hitting up your typical, run-of-the-mill bar. read more

We love Glade. Yes it's a gallery, but it's also served as a fantastic event space for the community. I was formerly involved as a young professional and attended a handful of events (at both their former and current location) hosted by Dragos and Lisa. From classes with Cynthia (she's fantastic), to promotional shows, live music events, philanthropic events and gallery tours (when it first opened), I've always left inspired, impressed, and (as an art lover) feeling a little lighter. *Parking can me a little tight, but there are lots behind the gallery *They offer interesting events. Great company. Always professional with guests artists of all types *If you're not from the area, the gallery is conveniently located by the Woodlands Mall, Market Street, The Waterway & Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion so I'd recommend making an evening out of your trip- grab a bite to eat, walk on the water, or take a trolley tour before or after the event. This venue is stunning! I have both attended and catered food through Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse at the venue for other non profits and I'm super impressed with the versatility of the space for each event I have attended. The outside area is the epitome of the Woodlands with the water and trees. During the day it is serene and makes you forget it is in the Woodlands proper. I could see all kinds of events being successful here including galas, weddings or even corporate. If you need a stunning venue with magical natural elements then I highly recommend. read more

The Woodlands Welcome Center was repurposed into an Art Gallery. Painting$$$, $tatue$, you get the idea. Surrounded by the multi-million $ homes and condos built around Lake Woodlands, I'd expect it does great business. Not a denizen of art galleries, I'd bought tickets to a promotional production, The Enchanted Forest. At $35/ticket, I was expecting A LOT of Enchantment compared to going to 2 x movies, or a couple of plays at College Park HS. I'd rank the Enchantment factor a "2" out of 5 Stars. Three actors provided improvisational, dialog, dance, and gymnastics as tangentially related to the "Fox and Star" children's book as possible. Why was there no prelude given to the audience? It might have given context to the performance! DUH??! Sadly, this was just another over-hyped holiday rip-off in The Woodlands, but I give it an extra star for effort: perhaps next year the venue will Live past this reputation. read more

Very nice venue!!! We went for the Woody Witt jazz quartet, and had a fun, romantic, and energizing time, all at once. The artwork on display was a mix of bronze sculptures and paintings, also a few wooden sculptures. The food and wine were great as well. Ashlyn was a great server and very pleasant. My only complaint....coffee! It started at 8pm, and surprisingly still playing around 10:30pm when we left.....to get coffee. If a great cup of coffee was available, we may have stayed longer.
