Let's face it, the US is ranked 37th in the world for healthcare because there is no good weed-out system for bad doctors, so if you have the opportunity to get surgery with this man before he retires, seriously consider it. He is as good as it gets. He won't try to sell you spinal appliances so he can buy a boat; he is a dying breed who remembers his hippocratic oath. I had conservative spinal surgery with him because he felt it was the best risk/reward option. After 4 years he was right. God bless him.

I was transferred to a "Nurse" which ended up being a voicemail with absolutely zero greeting. I had to hang up, call back and ask to be connected to a nurse, not a voicemail with no greeting. The receptionist (who doesn't seem to have appropriate customer service skills) indicated that the Nurse would place a call back to my sister in law due to my niece (an infant) attending an appt for a procedure with the physician and a fever developing the very next day. Albeit risk of infection is communicated before any procedure, this office would not follow up with a simple call back to address this in any way. If there are procedures taking place at this office, there should be open appointments for the following few days to ensure any possible infection is promptly followed up on. Instead, my sister in law had to bring her infant to the emergency room and risk exposure to other illnesses while sitting in a busy waiting room.

He needed me to come with him today to his appointment just in case I'd have to drive him home. Here's the thing, I'm on crutches. I needed to use the restroom so bad so I called and explained the situation and that I couldn't make it to the second floor bathroom, and this wonderful woman came and helped me through all of the doors going in and coming out. I didn't catch her name, but she was so kind and helpful. She had dark hair that was past her shoulders, blue eyes, and such a warm smile. I appreciate these people more than anything, it's a lot harder to navigate a world on crutches, and even harder in the snow!
