My partner and I did the self-guided tour and immensely enjoyed ourselves, being able to move and read everything at our own pace. It was so amazing to learn about the local history in this way! To know that over 90% of the artifacts are original?! That's almost unheard of. It really is well preserved. I wish I was local because I'd love to see the house decorated for Xmas or go to an event there! You simply MUST visit the Conrad!

There were some dioramas, maybe 1/25 scale, of camp life, caravan, and ceremonies. The only real issue I had was that all of the items were displayed together with Nez-perce, crow, Blackfoot, and other tribes all together. Well, I take that back, the gift shop is way overpriced! For any perceived faults, the low entrance fee and the staff made this a good stop to make.
