Their menu highlighted Movenpick ice cream, waffles, and paninis. My husband and I each grabbed a waffle with a scoop of Movenpick (creme brulee). Usually, there is only one flavor of waffle to chose from - normal. However, this place offered a apple cinnamon waffle. The waffles are pre made and left waiting for someone to pick them. My husband's was warm, but hadn't asked for his to be reheated, and I chose the apple cinnamon which I had reheated on the grill. The reheating made all the difference. I was really enjoying mine, and while my husband liked his, it wasn't as good. The reheating made all the difference in the world. The ice cream itself was Movenpick perfection. Also, extra kudos for extremely friendly service done with a smile. We were on our way to Lausanne and needed a quick place for lunch. This establishment was ideal for that purpose as it was at a roadside stop on A9. It was situated in a nice area with surrounding mountains. The retail shop was in the front of the facility while the restaurant was in the rear. The dining room was quite comfortable and informal and there was a shaded porch for outdoor eating. It was a beautiful day so we opted to dine outside. It was not busy so we were able to be seated quickly. We were brought our menus right away but the server then disappeared and did not return. We waited for about ten or twelve minutes and then my colleague had to track her down. We were finally able to place our orders but this was a bit annoying since we had a train to catch after lunch. My colleagues had the Steak Tartar and the Vegetable Curry. They both were satisfied with their meals. I had a Chicken Curry dish that was actually quite lovely. I was certainly happy enough with my meal. The prices were not bad making it a decent value. Overall, this restaurant serves a purpose. As a roadside stop, it is a convenient place to pull off if you need a quick meal. The food is pretty good and the prices are not bad. The ambiance is informal and the location surrounded by mountains is its best feature. My only real complaint is that the service leaves a bit to be desired. But it is not a bad choice if you want a meal but need to make it a quick stop.

It was the tastiest and most unctuous chocolate ice cream I've ever tasted. I coupled the chocolate with a dairy-free basil sorbet, delicious too with a savory twist to it. The staff is really friendly, we were waited on fast. They have two locations within 300m distance. They have frozen yogurt higher on the street, while they concentrate on ice cream at this location. They have gluten-free, dairy-free ice cream, depending on the flavor.

You will find even during winter some little birds inside the restaurant which is quiet entertaining. Food 5/5: Great food! It was excellent. I tried the Thai Burger Salmon (see pictures) and it was really interesting actually how they presented the food. 2 slices of pillaf rice forming the bun, "un lit" of vegetables and the salmon between it. Service 4/5: Service was good because my friend knew the GM of the restaurant. They just forgot us at the end with the check, but beside that. Service was really good.
