She helped another couple before me, too, and the vibe was just really good here. She explained that she tries to look for items that you won't see in other shops. For example, she had postcards with photos her friend took. (I bought four, and they're beautiful.) She also offered to help my disabled mother inside through the back walkway, but my mom chose to wait in the car, because she didn't want to get out in the rain. I was so impressed with the customer service that I came back a second time during my short stay on the island to make another purchase. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and looking for some unique beachy gifts.

We were interested in an expensive painting that had a very nice glass and wood frame. She sold us on the painting then weirdly told us "it was just sold". BUT the artist can do another original exactly like it and she will ship it to us (We took a picture of it and happy to share this). Well, this is her scam! What she sent us was a piece of literal garbage - a replica picture about 1/3 the size that looked like it was done on a photo copier! She also put it in an oversized cheap plastic frame with plastic cover ($1 dollar frame!)! She obviously pocketed our money (hundreds of dollars) and thought being "dumb tourists" we would just accept this. This is known as "bait and switch" - it is not only unethical, it is also illegal. If at first you're scared to walk in because of the "do not touch- fragile" signs, just do it. Once you walk in you find that although the signs are there to deter, it doesn't take away from the sharing and some what healing experience of hearing Crystal play. Being an owner of crystal and metal singing bowls, I appreciated learning different techniques and about vibrational healing beyond the bowls themselves- we talked about the vibrational healing properties of gongs and even the energy centers of heiaus throughout the islands. Read that they had added some vendors but still found it lacking . Vendors are not all open the same days and times so it is pretty hit and miss. Even some of the food trucks I liked last time were not there anymore. Unless they make big changes this was my last stop. There is no draw pulling me there.
