The restaurant itself is located inside the Hotel Nobu. It shares a common dining area with several other restaurants. Ask any of the nearby staff for the entrance, and they'll point it out for you. It is very well decorated, and features a lively ambiance. This is a high-end place. All the dishes were exquisitely prepared and full of flavors. The focus was really about the quality and presentation, similar to other high-end places. 3 types of Omakase are available, and you can also just order single entree dishes. The pace of the Omakase can be faster, as it seems to drag on. Other than that, it was a wonderful high-end dining experience.

But after being seated, it took almost 30-45 minutes to get the menu and then another 30-45 minutes to have someone take our order. I'm also fairly certain they helped a table that arrived after us BEFORE helping us... When they finally came to take our order, they said their wifi was down, thus there was a delay in the orders and the kitchen. I understand things like that happen but to be informed that 30-45 minutes in is frustrating... anyway, so when the food finally comes, it's nicely plated and tasty! Now comes the bill. So we asked for the bill almost immediately after eating because it was starting to get cold (our table was outside since the ones inside were maxed out) and we were outside for long due to that delay. Yet it took another 30 minutes to get the bill... and we had to ask 3 different staff... that's just ridiculous. By the time we finally paid and left, I was basically frozen. I think this place may be good for take-out but certainly not dine-in.

The funny thing is that they switch on the music and the heating when I arrive. It makes me feel important :) This time it was a Friday night around 21. Anyway I think this place should be much busier. Let's get to the food: unlike the (only) other reviewer I found the sushi very fresh and tasty especially compared to similar priced places in the area. The Korean owner is also the chef and knows well what he does. They don't have a massive choice of fish probably because of the little business they have in this period of the year, but the ones offered, i repeat it, tasted fresh and really good to me. Also I digested without any problem, good sign. Just ask the chef for suggestions and you won't be disappointed. The service also was very attentive, but that's pretty obvious as there was a customer/waiters ratio of 1:1. I'll definitely go back there.
