The frappes there are life changing! The best I've ever had! The service was so wonderful! Gini's Java is absolute perfection.

This is my second time leaving a review for here, the first was disputed which is crazy. We've gone…read morehere several times as it's on our way out of town to Nashville and honestly have very little positive things to say about this spot - which is a shame for a small business that we'd love to see thrive. They are upfront that this is not a quick place, and booooy do they mean it. You'll wait thirty minutes for a latte, and forty five minutes for food (like a bagel or chicken salad). The chicken salad is delicious which is what accounts for the two stars - as well as the atmosphere. It's a cute coffee house, with games to play and lots of seating. They clearly support small business here, but they definitely lack in the customer service area. Half the time they're rude and annoyed, or don't come out from the kitchen area. We REAALLLLLY want to like this place, which is why we give it so many chances. It just continually misses the mark.

I can tell that they use quality beans! The owner is so down-to-Earth ... and took time to chat. I appreciated him answering all my questions as he was training a new barista. This visit, I brought my Dad for brunch (after his VA appointment nearby)! He enjoyed the ham & cheese croissant sandwich while I indulged in the Lincoln's Apple Pecan Croffle! So rich & delicious! I also ordered a slice of the Blueberry Lemon Bread to go, but it didn't make it wholly intact by the time I got home! Haha. I enjoyed the affogato and I was ready to accomplish so much afterwards! It gave me a good pick-me-up! My hubby loved his Monte Cristo Croffle ... I barely got one bite to sample. It was delicious. Sorry no pic, especially when he's hungry! lol So far, everything has been amazing. Best coffee concoctions. Next time, I'm bringing friends and getting the Vietnamese Iced Coffee! The outdoor patio is more beautiful than I remember when it was the Looking Glass years ago. Check out my pix and go support this awesome local small business!

They require the entire party to be there at the time of seating. This is not a place ideal for a large group. That being said, however, it's very quaint and homey. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. I elected to have a hot Earl Grey tea while I was waiting for my other friends. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple. They offer a Cuban sandwich that I had to try. I know a good Cuban sandwich when I see one so seeing that on the menu was just too much of a temptation. The overall flavor profile of the sandwich was pretty good. The bread is not Cuban bread though. It's hard to come by up here in Tennessee. The bread they use is more of a dense bread, but it works well with the sandwich. My only other complaint is that the roast pork doesn't have taste of Mojo Criollo as I expect. It's just a little bit on the bland side. Otherwise, the portion is generous and very filling. I could only manage to eat half the sandwich. It comes with your choice of chips or breakfast potatoes. I opted for the breakfast potatoes, but I couldn't eat a bite of it. I was so full. I took the rest home. Most everybody in our group of four was pleased with their meal. Only one of us had over medium eggs that had a distinct off-fishy taste to it. She could not eat them. Otherwise, we had a very good experience. It would be nice to see this place open in a bigger venue where more people can enjoy what is offered. They are quite busy from what we can see. So maybe it's a matter of time. Would definitely like to try again and see what their other offerings are like. Probably won't with the group as it is too small for our usual numbers of attendees.

I came here for the first time to get some work done and the staff were so welcoming and the ambiance was perfect. I was able to focus and take calls without it being too noisy - which is a huge plus! Some cafes play their music way too loudly to allow for people to work in the space, and theirs was just right.

Let me start with the positives: I would give Plumb Line a solid 5 stars for ambience. It's such a cute and unique coffee shop that's perfect for studying or relaxing. The environment was great, and the staff is friendly. That part of the experience was genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't live up to the hype. We ordered drinks from the fall menu (The Cozy Sweater and Pumpkin) and both tasted more like watered-down black coffee with a hint of cream. There was hardly any flavor, and I couldn't taste the pumpkin at all. The bakery items were also a letdown. We both had cinnamon rolls, which were pre-wrapped and stale. You could tell they were probably delicious when freshly made, but that wasn't the case when we had them. I really loved the space and the service but the quality of the coffee and food really missed the mark. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for.
