As the other reviewers have said, the folks at Gilligan Black tell it like it is.
Business-like and to the point, but unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff take all their recruits in for interview, and are honest about your chances.
They specialise in Financial recruitment, which is not my bag at all as I have only an Arts degree under my belt, but I was told that they also provide the Irish Times with all of their temporary staff too, which of course interested me far more.
Unfortunately, during my jobless days the Irish Times had no need for a temp like myself, and the only work offered to me was a day on reception at the Hyundai head office. I took it gladly and endured the 9 hours of boredom with a blocked internet (how mean!) but this of course was nothing to do with Gilligan Black themselves, and I was grateful for that one single paycheque. read more
