I will admit that i have not used these guys in well over a year but these were my recruitment…read moreagent of choice while i was looking around for the job i really wanted! they have moved to new offices in sandyford now, they used to be on burlington road and i have to admit that the new office is so not as nice as the old one but thats not important when it comes to recruitment agencies is it? when i was there i was always given different jobs, what was great is that when you tempedin any particular office you often got called back to the same place when they needed someone, it made it all a bit personal which i liked. other than that they are just normal agents, same type of intetview and testing procedures as every other recruitment and they get annoyed when you turn them down for different things like normal agents too! so they have the good and bad bits of all irish recruiters. they are very nice in there though and they seem to be popular with a lot of big companies which is always good when your temping

A good friend raved about this crowd to me. I have always had a huge distrust of recruitment…read moreagencies but I trusted my friends opinion. I set up a meeting. The moment I got in there, I knew that this was going to be professional from the get go. The receptionist was so pleasant and got me sparkling water. The seats in the waiting area where a bit too Austin powers meets the future for my liking, but that's just a personal taste issue. I dealt with Catriona and she was fantastic. Completely down to earth, and at the same time so professional. What gives it top marks for me is the fact that Catriona stayed in touch months after, just checking in to see how I was doing. Now that is follow through, they genuinely care for their clients.

I used to love Monster, but they've changed things around and I find the newest Monster.ie…read moreinterface rather frustrating and difficult to use. If you browse jobs it keeps giving you more options to click through and no search results! Turns out, you have to click the button that says "View Jobs Now" on the right hand panel. It's rather awkward! One good thing is that you can upload a CV a lot easier than you formerly could. This is a good website to check out if you're job-hunting of course, but there are a lot fewer jobs than on Jobs.ie for example, plus the interface difficulties. It could just be better overall.

I'm not the biggest fan of monster.ie, because I find their website and job adverts very difficult…read moreto navigate. Maybe it's a fault with my computer, but I have never been able to apply for jobs through this site by clicking the 'apply now' button. Should be easy enough shouldn't it, but no... So basically, unless the advert provides the employer's name or contact details, there's no way I can apply for a job through this site. And that is really really annoying when you've just found your dream job online!! They also have less jobs than jobs.ie (or maybe that's just in the industries in which I'm interested). I find jobs.ie much easier to navigate and much more useful for finding potential jobs. There is one huge positive of Monster Jobs, however, and that is the capactiy to upload your CV for potential employers to view. Very cool.

I went for an interview with Orange Recruitment last summer…read more I really liked that they took the time to interview me, when all I was applying for was a random temp job, which hadn't even been advertised. Basically, I was asking to be placed on their lengthening list of standby temporary staff, that offices could call upon should they need a receptionist or administrator in a hurry. Unfortunately, so was the rest of the people in DUblin who have recently found themselves out of work, at a time when offices can't even afford to pay those high prices charged for a temp. Needless to say, I never got any work through them, but the staff here were pleasant enough and always replied promptly to my emails. Poor things, with the lack of jobs out there for anyone, that's probably all they do every day, reply to desperate emails from job seekers to tell them THERE"S NOTHING!!!

I became in contact with Orange Recruitment last January, I was in between jobs and looking for…read moresome temporary work. I explained what I was looking for and within a couple of days I was off to my first temping job. After a month or so I was in touch with their staff again (who were always on the ball, polite and professional) to let them know I was ready to look for something more permanent. Within 3 weeks they had successfully managed to help me secure a long term public sector contract. Needless to say I haven't looked back. I would highly recommend this Dublin agency to anyone looking for a great overall customer experience. I have recommended to friends who have also have similar experiences.
