Buyer beware. This firm nickeled and dimed me for every little thing so I ending up paying them $5,000 by the time just the Petition and Initial Disclosures were complete. Think $30 per file upload and $80 for any email received or sent, even if it was just one line. Weekly "status meetings" with the associate and partner even when nothing was happening in my case ($110 for each of those!). I got far more invoices than updates on my case, and they never even bothered to discuss my goals or show me any empathy. I brought up things like tax returns and my ex paying my fees, and they ignored those and instead focused on a bogus claim my ex was making (not the legal validity, only to tell opposing counsel to go to hell). They failed to ever make a counter-offer and pushed me to go to trial (more money for them). The worst part was that when I brought up my concerns, Raja did not even bother to respond to me, at all. A week later I terminated representation and instantly received a Substitution of Counsel form. I was never a person to them, just a paycheck. I felt totally taken advantage of by this firm. $10k down the drain, switched attorneys and now getting reasonable bills and working toward a settlement. Get ready for the bait and switch. "5k is all it will take to get this case done" well thats what Raj said 15k and 1.5 yrs ago on a very simple divorce. You will do all the work and they will get all the pay. someone on an earlier review said "not all lawyers are bad, but he is" is a very true statement. Everytime you email them the cost is $35 even if its a simple response. Phone calls can get into the hundreds. however he will always apply his "Courtesy Discount" so he doubles the bill and issues you a small discount. i would never advise someone to go it alone but i will advise everyone to stay as far away from this firm as possible. Last thing i will say, if you think this firm will FIGHT for YOU, you are dead wrong. his interests lie in stalling out so that he continues to milk you for what you have. $$ read more

Wanted to post a follow up to my previous review. I worked with Gill Law Group for almost a year, a stressful, unpleasant year at that. Throughout that entire time Raja and team were positive and supportive. Their guidance was realistic and direct and their service made a horrible situation not nearly as bad as it could've been. Being it the position to need legal representation is never something fun and its unfortunate that some of the people leaving negative reviews on here couldn't have been more subjective. While the outcome of my own case wasn't the ideal conclusion I would've liked, that isnt a reflection of the level of professionalism I received. The court system just is what it is. Not only is Gill Law top notch firm, they really care. After my case played out I even received calls following up just to see how things we're going.
