We took an awesome tour of this place during maple syrup season (Usually March/April) This years season was really short and is pretty much done already.
They have a tractor tour during maple syrup season, which takes you around their property and they show you how they tap trees and collect all the syrup from all the maple trees on their property.
There is a store with touristy stuff and I purchased maple sugar, maple butter and maple syrup!!
Attached to the store is awesome restaurant that must have been designed by a structural genius, the beams are all visible and the design is impressive. Even more impressive than the design was the food!! I ordered pancakes, and they were HUGE, but very fluffy and yummy, available on the table was maple syrup, the real stuff!
I would suggest only ordering one pancake as the size is the size of a large plate, I ordered two and I had a really hard time filling my tummy.
We also ordered the maple beans, I should've asked before ordering but it isn't vegetarian there is pork in the beans. read more
