Fred Gilbert has been doing my income tax for many years. I first met Fred when he was working at Pattersons Income Tax Services. He has since started his own business, Gilbert Tax Services and is doing quite well. All of his clients followed him to his own business, and he's picked up even more clients. Fred's wife Dawn runs the front office and sets up appointments, handles the paperwork and takes the payments. Fred and Dawn are two of the nicest people you could meet. Fred is never to busy for friendly conversation and some laughs. It is difficult to describe how happy I have been with Gilbert Tax Services. I have always done our tax returns myself except for a couple of times I used the accountants I used for for my businesses. Since we are long retired, and my wife is disabled, I decided to get outside help again. Wanting to use a local small business rather than a chain franchise, my search happened on Gilbert with 100% five star reviews -- just what I was looking for! I called and spoke with Dawn, made the decision, and I haven't been one bit disappointed with my choice. Fred and Dawn are efficient, thorough, and patient, as well as being personable and genuine in their effort to care for the client first. On top of all that, they are more than fair in what they charge for the excellent service they provide. I would have paid Fred what he charged me just to do the Social Security tax calculation sheet. I completely understand why they have 5-star reviews, and recommend Gilbert Tax Services unequivocally. I am actually looking forward to working with them again next year.
