Certainly, the urgency for call backs are not there. I am not sure if they are happy with the changes or not, but it certainly has had an impact of some sort. I got the pleasure of meeting the lady dentist (I cannot remember the name right now) but she was very pleasant and caring. I feel that my review is based more on the office staff in itself. However, an issue that I have seen that has nothing to do with the dentist changes. it is the billing portion of it. This office has a habit of always having a surprise "balance" on your account. It doesn't matter how many times you pay for the balance; you can bet you will have another on your next visit. Then, months later, you will have a mysterious credit. (At least that is what has happened to me in the past.) Aside from that observation, they will tell you that it is a "courtesy" to bill your insurance. As if they are doing you a favor, even though they are a contracted provider, and via that contract, they have a billing obligation. That was my experience. Little that they know, I have been in Provider Relations for years, and if you are a contracted provider, you are not doing a favor; you are contractually obliged to deal with the billing portion as well. But I digress. My point of this review is to make sure YOU keep an eye on your EOBs and what the insurance pays and what you paid out of pocket, because somebody is not balancing the books correctly, and there is always some mysterious balance popping up. If this happens, ask for an itemized bill reflecting the reason as to why the balance is, and do your homework. Chances are, when you ask for this, they will wipe out the balance because they cannot justify it. (Not always, anyway.) Again, this is no reflection on the actual dentist. It is the administrative portion. I have expressed my concern to them, and it is simply brushed off. I am no longer a patient there, I do not agree with this type of behavior, especially since I have been in health ops for 25 yrs. Good luck.

To accomplish this, the dentist at advanced dental care said I needed to have a small gum surgery first and we would need to schedule the tooth shortly after so the gum didn't recede back. I did everything they said had the surgery and came in for my appointment for the new tooth, but unfortunately advanced dental care messed up and didn't order the tooth in time. They ended up having to put in a temporary tooth because of this mistake. Their billing agent mistakenly billed the insurance for the cheap temporary tooth that broke two times before the real tooth actually arrived. They admitted to me that they screwed up. Finally, they put the real tooth in weeks later. Six months after that I was sent a bill for $1200 and their explanation was it was declined due to frequency. My insurance also confirmed that it was declined because they had billed for the temporary tooth instead of the regular tooth so they build for the tooth that might cost 50 bucks and didn't bill for the tooth that cost 1200 bucks so now apparently I'm on the hook for $1200 because of their mistake These guys are the biggest crooks in town and I would avoid them like the plague . They do a very mediocre job and mistakes like this are gonna cost you a lot of money don't risk it. These guys should be in jail. I have been making them monthly payments based on what I can afford and now they just sent this to collections and so I am going to have to take them to court over their mistake. Don't let their incompetence cost you money find a real dentist.

Service- by far the best customer service I have ever received. Immediately you are greeted with staff that you can sense truly care and are happy putting your nerves at ease. Calling into the office was a breeze and everyone has been so sweet. Dentist- Dr. McElfatrick and Marci- These women are AMAZING for their ability to immediately diagnose a problem and get their patients the best work possible. They explained every step of the process, what would be the best options and why. Even during the procedure I never felt rushed and always felt at ease in the hands of these two women. I need a gentle, no upselling dentist I can trust…read more Dr.King was my second dentist I tried when I moved to Tampa. The first could not deliver on either of my requirements. Dr.King is wonderful! I like her staff and that matters too. I trust Dr.King and if she recommends something, and she has not recommended much as I've had a ton of work done previously, I know she sees a need. I had Joan sign me up for a dental plan in 2019. She signed me up for automatic renewal without telling me and I was charged for 2020, 2021, and again in 2023 without my knowledge. In that period I went to the office and had work done without insurance paying anything. They quit accepting that plan after 2019. Then she sells me a new plan in 2022 and I soon discover I had been paying for the first one for three years without any benefit. I complained and they cancelled my insurance without reimbursing me for anything. I knew I would never get my premiums back for the first plan but they should reimburse me for the second. They have ripped me off of 150 dollars and when I disputed the charge they refused to settle the dispute. This was Joan's mistake, she never asked or told me she was signing me up for auto renewal. This is so wrong. Besides that, after spending over 10,000 for crown replacement my mouth has never been right. My mouth bothers me constantly now and 3d xrays don't show what is under the crowns but something is not right. I would advise you all to stay away from this office, you may learn to regret it as I have.

Typically dentist office staff are nicer than doctors, but this office takes the cake. They only take one specific type of dental insurance that is hard to obtain (aenta extend PPO) so good luck paying everything out of network and out of pocket. Office manager is extremely rude and condescending. Office staff used to be friendly but they no longer work here. Any feedback you leave them, they will scream at you and ignore. Their hours are limited so "taking off work" is their solution to making an appointment and no one else will ever cancel their appointment for months so there's no availability in later time slots they say they have. I tried for over a month to get an afternoon time slot. They are happy to not have your business or money so find somewhere else to go. I found another practice that takes my dental insurance and doesn't give me such a hard time or try to accommodate my work schedule. The hygienist here is good and nice but told me I needed my wisdom teeth out and referred me to the office's oral surgeon friend that only comes by once a month and doesn't take insurance. But she didn't mention insurance. It's like the only patients they have here are full of privilege. I tried to ask for outside oral surgeon referrals and they have none because no other doctors are their friends. This is after I got a panorama from the Carrollwood office and had to pay out of pocket for it after. So I was very upset about it and complained but they only gave me a 50% discount and said I owed the rest without any remorse or apology. I will add that Dr Singh takes other insurance types like MetLife but I wasn't really impressed by his bedside manner so it is another reason I looked for another dental practice to go to, which there are plenty of competition in the south tampa area that will take your insurance. Not ONCE did they mention that the day they start the work, before they even touched him, $13,000 would be due in full. My husband said he was never told that and the clerk who spoke with him said "I told you". He said "no" and asked her to look on the printed estimate. She looked and agreed it wasn't indicated but repeated "I told you". No, pinhead, you didn't! So everything else was spelled out in writing....just not this! Then they said "well, if you pay $4500 today we'll extract all 5 teeth today. What???? How do you eat? My husband walked out to go find an implant facility with ethics. For a dentist that is actually good & ethical see Dr. Stephen Krist on Davis Island. Excellent treatment and in spite of being in DI, very reasonable rates. Good luck!

I have been coming here for probably about 6 years and I have always have great experiences. They put my crown on when I was in school and couldn't go home at the time. It was a comfortable and painless experience. Dr. Guinta is very genuine and personable. He always checks everything over to ensure my teeth are in good condition. His experience also shows and he has always done very good work! The hygienist is also amazing! She is very careful and always makes sure to be gentle when cleaning. She is also extremely friendly and personable every time I visit! I will always recommend Guinta Dentistry for any work you need done! They are fair and honest. I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist than I do here!

The staff is super friendly and mindful of any of your sensitivity concerns. They are receptive to numbing requests and explain what they are doing as they navigate around your teeth. If you need to change your appointment, they easily book you for another time slot, even last minute. They remember me and quite a lot about what I have told them in regards to my life. I love this office and will keep going/referring friends. Dentistry done right!
