We tried the Da Vinci Code, which we found out to be their hardest room (oops our bad..) We found the clues to be quite difficult but nevertheless we escaped! .. with a little help. Everything is very well made and I can see why it is voted #1 in Zurich. They offer the games in both German and English which is very convenient for visitors! Friendly staff as well :)

Pretty awesome way to spend a summer afternoon, if you ask me. The swimming stretch is quick-flowing, often lifeguarded, and has several ladders; during nice days, expect to deal with people hanging out on the ladders, trying to decide if they want a dip or not. It's totally fair game to bypass them and jump in. (And if that's your style, there's a rope swing on the opposite shore). The playground has both water and dry sections for the 2-to-8 crowd; the climbing structures are all pretty small, so more adventurous kids may be happier swimming. The buildings in the center of the island have an outdoor restaurant, plus bathrooms and warm showers. In the middle of the island, there's a run-of-the-river hydro plant --- good if you like crashing water. More impressive falls are on the south-east corner. One thing to know ahead of time: The western third of the island is a de facto nude area, predominantly male and frequently gay. Everyone's pretty mellow, but it does make for a marked transition just past the powerplant.

It genuinely reminded us of gardens and temples we've visited in Hong Kong, and it felt surprisingly authentic. Kudos to everyone who designed and created such a beautiful space! We had a really nice, leisurely walk around the garden. I especially loved the pond and the rocks you can actually walk across. The whole place felt very peaceful and zen -- peaceful enough that my sister even breastfed my niece here! You can easily make this a quick stop if you're just passing through, or take your time walking around, sitting down, and enjoying a little moment of reflection. A free pitcher of water with plastic cups was laid out on a small table. There is a changing room to hang your clothes, and we laid out our towels in the last bit of shade. No one except little fish actually swim in the little square of water in the middle of the platform. We went out into the lake and swam to one of the floating platforms. The water was a bit chilly at first, but it was a nice contrast to the hot sun. Afterwards, we rinsed off at the outdoor shower and then laid out in the sun to dry before heading back to the office. What a fabulous way to spend lunch! :)

You can take classes like yoga, spinning, etc. I never tried it, but the classes always look full. If you take an annual pass it costs approx. 1200 sfr a year. But you can always find a promotion or a good deal. Normally as of may they start a summer promotion plan for 3 months for only 200 Sfr. So if you wanna try out you should do it during summer. If you take an annual plan you have 5 coaching of an hour that you get for free. They really help you very well and professional. You have 2 changing room for men and 1 for women. Up on the second floor you have a relaxation zone. There is a swimming pool with jets, deck chairs around the pool, a Kneipp stone pad, relaxing booths (with daily newspapers and magazines), 2 sauna`s + a seperate sauna for women, hammam, showers, small cold bath and a meditation room. On the same floor you also have tanning studios, but for this one you have to pay. It is approx. 1,70 Sfr per min. You can also book a massage. Different kinds of massages. The Relaxation zone gets very crowded at sundays afternoon.

You can use Google Maps to guide you through the trail. There's a dirt trail that will get you up faster, but don't take that one! I hiked it after a few days of rain so it was muddy and challenging. There's another trail that's a bit longer, with switchbacks throughout. I took that one on the way down and it's so much safer than the dirt path. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Zurich.

There is a restaurant, a lookout area and a separate tower at the top. The lookout area is free. The tower offers 2 levels (30 m and 72 m) of views for free. The highest level of view (900m) will cost 1 or 2 franc. From this small mountain, you can hike various paths ranging from 0.6 km to several km. I wish I had the time and the right shoes to hike one of the paths. I'm sure the experience would be well worth the effort.
