Fara on the other hand is centrally located, has a failry large selection for its size, decent prices, in addition to all the normal hardware store stuff they also have a decent sized selection of used commercial (and a few domestic) appliances, and parts to repair them too like motors and compressors, they also have a small selection of restaurant stuff, plates, glasses, coffee pots, etc. Some pet supplies, dogs, chickens, horses (i think). Chemicals from pretty dangerous like caustic soda and hydrochloric acid to the fairly benign things with 100's of uses like borax, and sulfur powder in bulk, and if all that wasn't enough, right outside they have tacos and transvestites 24/7-if thats your sort of thing!

I'm not much of a tool guy or know much about them, hence I went there to buy my wife a power drill because she's the handy one in the house not me, yeah I know what kind of man are you Andy? Well I'm a good man that does yard work & cooks but I ain't building shit, that's why I buy her power drills, I know that sounds kind of weird & funny but hey it works for us. I went there on a Sunday not knowing what to get or was looking for I know I looked more lost than Stevie Wonder in a dark room, Mo must of noticed & came over to help me. I'm glad he did, he helped me pick a great drill for my wife & a few items for me to do my yard work, the guy was really helpful & cool. I forget the name of who helped us but it was the buff islander guy who works part time. He was very knowledgeable and informed us of the sales and explained that this store carries blemishes from the factory that they are unable to sell in their normal stores because of their own standards. He showed us the difference with one tool being "too teal" for the Ryobi and now being sold as a "manufacturer blemish..." This store also sells "remanufactured tools as well. The original box is new and the ones outside the boxes are re-manufactured. There is an awesome selection and the Ryobi is for households and not so much for using for work. The remanufacturered still came with a warranty as well as the manufacturer blemish tools. Would highly recommend this store for your household needs, was cheaper than tools I hD waited to go on sale and a different a brand. Will definitely be back!

I took my 2018 Camry to Colima Auto Body Shop based on the rave online reviews. I dropped the car…read moreoff on Wednesday, paid the down payment and Luis took me back to the border. Then I took the trolly all the way home to El Cajon. The quote was less than a quarter of the estimate of a collision repair shop up here. Two days later Luis called and said the car was ready for pickup. By the way he uses WhatsApp to communicate. I took a taxi from the border to his shop. The work was impeccable and the car was restored to pristine condition. Only one problem. When I looked in my wallet for the money to pay him the money was not there. I probably dropped it as I was paying the taxi driver. I must say that Luis gets extra credit and high marks for not panicking or berating me. He drove me to the border. I took an Uber to the closest bank, withdrew the money, Ubered back to the border and walked across again. Luis picked me up. Then back to the shop, I paid him and I was on my way. The situation was complicated by the fact that I had taken the fob with me so that they were unable to move my car while I was away. My screwups! The shop is located in the back of an apartment building and is accessed through a narrow tunnel in the middle of that building. If you put the address in Google maps, you can see exactly what that building looks like. There is no sign on the street. Following the route on Google maps it is very easy to get there. They don't take credit cards. Luis' English is OK, but not great. He gets a capital P for patience though. Excellent work going above and beyond that necessitated by the collision at a price less than a quarter of the estimate in San Diego.

When you meet Luis, you'll get the impression that he's a honest businessman and that proved to be true. Luis was responsive and always had answers to my questions, he always was open and explained why he was doing certain things. He responded whenever I messaged him. The shop did very good work on my car. It looks brand new now. They fixed a piece of siding, some window parts, my door and trunk latches, they painted parts and fix things on my behalf that I was not even expecting them to do. They finished earlier than I expected. They finished with an extremely good paint job with no problems or hiccups. They were cleaning parts of my car and my tires when I arrived. They asked me questions and provided me with exactly the services that I wanted. I am going to recommend Luis and his team to my friends and family and anyone else. Excellent and recommended experience!
