I spoke with one of his assistants over the phone, who was very informative and very friendly. When I dropped my hard drive, Nate looked at it, did some diagnostic work, and gave me detailed information about the cost of doing the work and how much it would cost if he needed to send it somewhere else. He was very nice about it, and thank God. Eventually, there was a bent in the controller, and with some manipulation, it worked, and I could retrieve all my data. He didn't charge me for anything, and he was very generous in explaining and giving me more information about how to store my data these days and available resources safely. I highly recommend this place

I'm an IT professional, but I had an older laptop I just could not get booted up. Figured it…read moreneeded to be reloaded, but didn't want to take the time myself. When I pulled up to the Columbia Computer Center, I was surprised at all of the cars and customers in the place! They had plenty of staff and I was helped as soon as I got in the door. I explained the issue, paid a $25 deposit, gave them my contact info and left. The next day they called to let me know that it did need reloaded and gave me several options. Since I had already replaced the computer, I chose the option to sell the shell and have them put the hard drive in an enclosure (accessible with a USB). They just charged me the original $25 deposit and gave me what I thought was a fair price for the laptop shell. So, I went in with a useless computer, that had data I needed. I came out with the data and some cash in my pocket! On top of that, all of the staff I spoke with were professional and friendly. I'll be headed back there any time I need some computer help.
