Dr Greer treated by 'trunks' and the NP then treated my branches. The branches turned from blue veins to brown veins after treatment. When asked about this a few weeks later she said 'o it will go away....this happened to me and it went away' but it may take a year. I went back 3 months later for additional follow up and then she said 'well it may take 18 months and it may me permanent'. So I went to a get a second opinion from another vein doctor and he has not told me the' staining' is pretty permanent and that it will fade with time but not completely because as he put it 'this is pretty impressive staining'. He then explained two things 1.) Those particular veins she injected are too large to inject and they should have been removed instead of injected. 2.) Since she chose to inject them she should have seen you a month later and drained whatever leftover stagnant blood to prevent the hemosiderin staining. When I went to see her a few weeks later she should have referred me at that point and she didnt and she kept telling me to wait and now it's too late. A lot of clinics will inject those veins but if they see any sign of trapped blood she should have drained it and now I have permanent brown veins down my whole leg and will have to get a consult for lasers that will cost me thousands. Please do your research and ask good questions. My quality of life is greatly impacted. I live in a hot state and do not feel comfortable wearing shorts or a swimsuit and Im only in my 30s.

Finally the DOCTOR comes to sign you in, takes you back to a room, checks your BP, tells you to 'hold tight' and then 45 minutes later you walk out because he never came back. I gave this place two chances: trust me, it's a rip off. Don't go.

I am a 25 year old woman who had lower back pain, leg heaviness, leg soreness and pain during…read moreintercourse. I came to Dr. Daugherty's office last year to get seen for my varicose veins that I had noticed. I did not think as young as I am that I should be having them and wanted them gone. His staff was very kind and informative. They did an ultrasound on both of my legs and wanted to do one on my abdomen. I never thought that pain during intercourse was something they dealt with. I agreed to have the ultrasound done and it was then that Dr. Daugherty discovered my severely compressed left illiac vein. To make a long story short, lots of blood work was done, I now wear thigh high compression hose and I had surgery to have stent placed in that vein. This happened in November of 2015. After words, all of my symptoms went away. I have no lower back pain or leg pain. Thankfully the pain during intercourse has disappeared as well!!! I have recommended that several of my coworkers go see his office to see if their veins are compressed. Who knew this all could be fixed?!
