Josh was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the items in his store we really enjoyed learning about some of the items. The store is nicely arranged, easy to access items, has a variety of price points, various styles of furniture, art, lamps, and decor. The new location appears to have more storage for incoming stock, while the sales floor seems to be about the same amount of display space. The layout is more organized, and they have some new display racks and cases. It is a lot easier to look through the clothing and find specific sizes. Cosmetics, toiletries, household items, and cleansers are much more organized on the shelves. On the flip side, I think regular patrons were really hoping for air conditioning. It is highly recommended you go before noon and take a drink with you as it warms up quickly. They do have some fans to move the air, but it's just not enough in the afternoons to keep shoppers comfortable. They still have some great deals, but as other shoppers have mentioned, prices are higher than we were accustomed to. Where we often found adult clothing starting at $3, $5, & $7 with bo/go on $7 and up, now most clothing starts at $15, $20, & up. They also used to offer bo/go on purses, which I haven't seen yet, but maybe I missed it, or they haven't run that special yet. They have a tv screen mounted in a central location that displays any special deals they are running, so check that first before you start shopping. Most cosmetics are $1.50 each, purses $14.99 & up, and jewelry is still buy one for $5 get one free (or 2/$5). They have a lot of baby items, children's clothing, children's toys, housewares, small electronics/appliances, linens, furniture, rugs, shoes, and pet supplies. There is plenty of parking, food truck on site most days, and someone who sells frozen treats outside the warehouse. In order to use a credit card for your purchases, you must have at least $10 in merchandise, so be prepared with cash if spending less than $10. They also award you with $10 in OTG "cash" for every $50 you spend. You can come back the following week and redeem the $10 rewards on Wed or Thurs towards your purchase. Others have mentioned that the management and staff have displayed rude behavior, but I have not experienced that. Workers on the floor have been helpful about obtaining prices if an item is unmarked, helped locate specific items to see if they have it, and the cashiers have been friendly and personable. I had an item I bought that didn't work once I got it home, and I had no trouble returning and exchanging it. The only criticisms I have is that it is difficult to get through with a shopping cart, more big fans might help circulate the air, and they may want to relocate the nail polish bottles over by the jewelry. I have found when checking out, folks park their carts in front of the nail polish display and until they are done, it kind of holds up the rest of the folks who are ready to check out. It would be nice to see clothing prices lowered. They are not as deeply discounted as they were before the move and are more comparable to retail prices creating less of a draw to come shop for clothing. I enjoy stopping into OTG to shop around and will continue to shop here. Always look forward to seeing what's new on the floor and finding some good buys.

**UPDATE** We appreciate that the owner of Budget Blinds IRC came to our home this morning once he…read moreread my complaint. He addressed our concern with the blinds and is addressing our complaint with the employee, who was the reason for my complaint. When we first contacted Budget Blinds, Carolyn came to our home to measure, and she was very professional. She advised us to contact the office to check on the delivery status. Unfortunately, dealing with Gio was a completely different experience. I would call about once a week for updates, and every interaction with him felt like an inconvenience to him. Carolyn tried to keep us informed despite dealing with health challenges, even though this was supposed to be Gio's responsibility. Eventually, Gio stopped answering my calls. I know this because I would call back a minute later from another phone line, and he would answer immediately. We finally had the blinds installed, but one of them was defective, so we called once per week for updates on the replacement. Again, Gio was consistently snippy and unpleasant. My husband finally called, and Gio informed him that the replacement blind had already been delivered to the shop -- even though no one had contacted us to schedule installation. The blind was just sitting there. After the replacement was installed, I noticed last week that it was still not sitting properly in the window. I called Gio, and he scheduled an appointment for today, 5/26, at noon. Noon came and went with no communication, so I finally called Gio. He answered and, in a very rude tone, told me that the appointment window was actually three hours. I explained I was never advised of such, and all previous appointments had been scheduled for a specific time, not a three-hour window. I waited the additional three hours as instructed -- and Budget Blinds WAS A NO SHOW. I attempted to contact Gio again but only reached voicemail. This has become a pattern: Gio displays a poor attitude toward customers and then avoids communication altogether. What should have been a simple process became unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. In my opinion, Gio has very poor customer service skills, and his handling of this situation reflects badly on Budget Blinds as a company. Now I am left dealing with a miserable, uncooperative employee just to get a brand-new blind properly repaired. As a paying customer who paid thousands for blinds, I expected professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Based on how we were treated throughout this process, I would NOT recommend Budget Blinds to others.
