They didn't have any new ones, but they did have the crazy looking Mrs. Potato Head. They also had the Marvel Potato Heads. When I saw the Marvel Potato Heads, I thought about looking through the Marvel toy brand. It was interesting to see that Play-Doh has like a Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man and other Marvel characters. I'm not sure what the toys does, but I wanted to get it for the simple reason that it's Marvel. Another new Marvel toy they have is this rubber figure of Iron Man, Captain America and Spiderman. They toy doesn't really do anything. It's not a key-chain and you can't really play with it, but the kids in the store thought it was amazing. I hope they'll have the whole Avengers team next time including the new members.

Other parents may find the notorious "DisneyCollectorBR" and "FunToyzCollector" of YouTube familiar, and to blame, for this craze. Toys R Us really is something, though. I remember my visits to LA being incomplete until I picked up a Super Soaker or toy laboratory set from Toys R Us. Now, the Philippines has this haven of happiness.

Oooh this is one of the most kawaii shops I've been to. Clipper is, more or less, a gift shop where…read moreyou can find countless novelty items, all with a quirk on their own. They have everything from stationery to toys, bags, plushies and pillows. They even sell earphones and memory card readers. The assortment of goodies have one thing in common: they're all so cute. Honestly, I don't think I ever found a non-kawaii item there. Well, their cash register isn't kawaii, but I don't think it counts! Lol. You see, I'm a huge Rilakkuma fan and this is one of the few places in Manila that sells Rilakkuma-themed stuff. The stuffed toys aren't genuine (and I never bought them) but the stationery and other knick-knacks were fine. Besides, it's not like there are many San-X shops in Manila. Speaking of which, they also sell Sentimental Circus-themed goodies. I saw pens, pluggies, keychains and phone cases. So yes, if you're a fan of an obscure (but kawaii) character, you might wanna check this place.

If you're looking for a gift for you're quirky, odd, bubbly, or creative friend (or anything in between) you should check out Clipper. They've got a bunch of options from stationary supplies and clocks to pillows and water jugs. Everything here is made to look adorable and hard to resist. With cute pastel designs or the use of animals and others that'll just make you go "awww!!" at everything you see. Clipper is also really affordable and for some reason because the designs are so attractive you could get your friend a sharpener for P40 and they'd love it because of how adorable (and useful!) it is. So basically Clipper gives you everything you want in a gift: 1. cute and unique, 2. useful! and 3. affordable!

The first thing that caught my eye was of course the pillows. I swear on my life I will come back for that huge, soft, cuddly slice of bread of a pillow. On my life! Various quirky items are still abundant in this shop, but the difference is everything has started to look appealing to me again. They even have a small segment for pet owners! I would want to buy things from here just for myself... if I could afford them, at least.

My two-year old daughter loves watching Disney Collector, a popular Youtube channel for kids (and…read morekids at heart) talking about the latest toys (mostly from Disney). My daughter has been watching these Magic Clip Disney Princesses over and over that I know she really wants to have at least one. I wanted to get her one, but the local toy stores didn't carry that brand. I thought I had to resort to buying online or asking a relative from the States to buy for me, until I recently discovered a Toys R Us branch in the new Robinson's Las Pinas. This place is relatively smaller compared to other Toys R Us branches, but they have a wide selection of toys for every boy and girl. I liked that they have the Disney Magic Clip collection available, and my personal favorite, the Shopkins Collection (yes, we saw it on Youtube). At first, it was my daughter wanting to buy these little thingamabobs, but I ended up being the one collecting them. They're so cute! Okay, back to Toys R Us. I like this branch because it's not too crowded. My daughter can take her time buying or looking at any toy she wants while I keep my eye on her. That's also a downside though, because it adds another thirty minutes to our mall time.

Its a haven for those last minute gift finds that wouldn't cost you a fortune. During the late 1990s, this popular gift store made rounds to the Manieños for using recycled paper where they put messages to parents, sisters, brothers, friends, teachers, etc. I remember, during the holidays, I'd go this shop and buy small trinkets of signages, calendars, notebooks and gift cards. the brown-colorer paper makes the gift its unique sense and I personally love it when gifts look very unique (not like the generic candles, mugs, photo frames). By far, this Papemelroti is the biggest shop in the country and you get to see what's the newest gift idea they have in store before rolling out to other branches. Until now, I always pass by at the place to have a handful of notebooks and notecards just in case I suddenly go to a party or if I just feel like giving someone something to express my feelings.

It's certainly one of the cutest shops I've ever seen here in Manila. When you come closer, it gets even cutest, once you can see what's displayed - cute toy carousels, mini ferris wheels, stuffed dogs, funny clothes for dogs, dog cushions and much more! Ok, you don't like dogs, right? This was just a thematic window display, probably. There's much more inside! You have to try, really! When you enter there, you see the following invitation written in a golden vintage font on the red walls : "Come inside for some smiles and laughter". That's true. This store made me smile. I fell in love for the accessories and cute things I didn't know I needed, but I wanted to buy. I ended up purchasing a blue carousel that is also a music box for my baby boy's room. Simply CUTE!

The store sells teddy bears of a wide variety of different colors, sizes, and themes. Heck, the store even has a bear that would make me feel small. Just looking at this place sort of fills me with warm fuzzy feelings. I remember back in high school that this was the place where a lot of people found gifts for their girl friends or girlfriends. After all, something cute, fluffy, and big is usually a good thing to give to a girl as a gift. If you have no idea what to give your girlfriend or a girl friend then I recommend this place. It's the play it safe option. On the one hand, you can't go wrong even if the gift might be underwhelming, on the other hand she might just enjoy a humongous teddy bear as a gift.
