We agreed on a price and started the project during the bad storms we had intermittently in late July/early August. However after some minor communication problems, Lester's guys came and applied another coat of sealer to the driveway. We have been very pleased with the finished product, and feel like we got our money's worth. We would definitely consider contracting with them again when another maintenance job is required. Still my go to sprinkler repair company…read more Thank God for Yelp reviews, because when I thought I had another sprinkler problem I was able to look back to see who I used in the past. This time there was a circle of dead grass on our front lawn that I noticed and then never did anything about. Being that we have both a lawn mowing service and a chemical treatment lawn service, there shouldn't be any dead areas. After ignoring our chemical treatment lawn company's advice to check our sprinklers for a couple of months, I finally remembered to check our sprinklers. I watched as one of our sprinklers sprayed directly into a bush, never reaching that brown patch of grass. Whoops. I called Aqua Pro and it is still Margaret doing the scheduling. Amazing as always, she apologetically said there wasn't an opening until next week. I wasn't upset, I'd put off doing this for a couple of months. She actually called back later and had an opening a couple days later! Sure, I'll take it! Margaret told me the technician would come between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. I had a meeting that day until 9 a.m., (ugh early morning meetings) so the timing worked. The day of, Joe called at 8:15 a.m. that he was on his way. He was early! It didn't matter, because he was able to get started without me coming out. In the end, he made two of our shrub risers taller, moved one rotor out of the bushes and changed another rotor. It took two hours and came out to $234.31. Joe was really efficient. He actually did all the work without telling me what he was going to do, so if you are the type that wants to double check everything you'll want to tell him upfront, but for this amount of money, I was fine with him just going ahead and doing everything. Now I know all our sprinklers work. I will definitely continue to use Aqua Pro.

Worst contractor ever. Nothing finished on time. A 2-month project took over 6 months. They were…read moreout more days than they were at the worksite. Lied about everything, didn't want to pull permits (first 4 months were done without permits), electrician quit without finishing the job. The lead designer stopped coming after 1 month. The "boss" or lead contractor was rude when we tried to get a finish date and to finish us off, they added charges that almost doubled the original cost and didn't do everything that was in the original contract. Everything that went wrong was blamed on us (from them not getting the permits to the job not being completed within the 6-week window). My advice. Hire someone, anyone else. It took me years to find the right person to take on a paver job. My house is quite unique in that it's almost 100 years old and has a basement, therefore sits on quite a steep slope. Although work was previously completed to help with grading, there was still a lot of Intricate planning and consideration for drainage and further leveling. The basement was flooding, and I had a pool built 2 years ago that was raised more than it should've been, so I had to account for that as well. I was referred to Eddie by my realtor turned friend. She knew of two separate jobs that he completed, and those clients were very happy with the end results. I texted Eddie October 30th, and he responded right away. Within the hour, he was at my house to discuss my goals for my backyard. I got a very good feeling about him and how he approached his projects. Mind you, I had already spoken to 4+ contractors and It just didn't click. Eddie was up for the challenge as excited about my project as if it was his own home. He made recommendations on pavers that may fit the aesthetic and even suggested I go look at the product in person to make sure I liked it (catalogue photos can look different). He was spot on and I chose 24X24 Porcelain pavers. Before moving forward, I asked Eddie if he would walk me through solutions for known problem areas - again, he was at my house within the hour. All my concerns were addressed, and I signed the contract. The quote was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done so I paid my 50% deposit, and scheduled Nov 6th as the start date. I won't bore you will all the boring details, but prep started right on time. My backyard was a mess (see before and after photos for proof) so it took a few days to get everything ready for drainage and pavers. Aside from some rainy days, everything went smoothly. Eddie's crew is amazing. The paver master Jairo was ridiculously meticulous. At one point, I communicated that the standard pitch of pavers looked too obvious, so we talked through it and decided to reduce pitch by a smidge (which made a huge difference). That meant they had to undo the work and redo it. I felt awful, but they had no complaints. I personally miscalculated the square footage, so I had to purchase a few more pavers, but nothing major. They had the job done within the timeframe discussed and the result is beautiful. See for yourself! For this project, my biggest concern was drainage. The pool is next to the house/basement so making sure water moved away from the house as well as away from the pool was top of mind. Being November, I assumed that I'd have to wait for the next downpour to see if everything worked as intended BUT lucky me, it poured on the 26th and boy was I happy. The drainage worked beautifully!! The channel drains did their job, and the gutters/downspouts were routed away from the property and pool. I will recommend Eddie and his team to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. I am very pleased. When I decide to do the side yard, I will be hiring him again for the work. Thanks for everything, Eddie!

We intended to use Elite Designer Landscaping to do the pavers and landscaping for our lanai and…read moreback and side yards. We ended up contracting with them additionally to install synthetic turf and an eight-hole putting green, as well as drainage for our side yard gutters. The drainage was sufficient. The pavers turned out great. However, I am disappointed in the turf and green. The seam in the two-piece green is clearly visible. The cups are not seated properly. The top of the cups should be about 1/8 inch below the lip of the hole but most of them stick up an 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the hole. The green itself appears to only be attached to the underlying surface where they drove in staples. And the staple depressions are visible. As a result, a putted ball will skip and bounce along the surface instead of rolling end over end. I give the paver work five stars, the drainage four, and the turf and putting green three, for an overall grade of four stars. Highly recommend for paver and landscaping work but would not recommend for turf and or putting green installation.
