My brother hired Mr. Finkelstein in September 2025 to handle the probate of our mother's estate…read more The most important aspect was securing his appointment as executor, in accordance with my mother's living will. There were no objections from the beneficiaries to his appointment. After signing a Letter of Engagement and paying $4,000 upfront via Zelle, there has been no meaningful progress eight months later. He has not been appointed executor, and he hasn't received clear confirmation that the probate case has even been filed. Communication has been inconsistent at best; responses are often vague and followed by delays or excuses, with little to no follow-through. I understand that probate can take time, but the lack of transparency and progress over this period is concerning. At a minimum, we expected timely updates, clear explanations, and evidence that the process was moving forward. My brother only given more excuses for the delay. Additionally, he continuously ask the same questions (i.e. what is my brothers email yet he's had it for eight months now) and didn't even know the inventory or how many beneficiaries which was provided by back in September of 2025. There has been NO action since October 24, 2025. By the way, I made a previous review for Mr. Finkelstein to response that he didn't repressent me but represented my opponent. There is no opponent on top my brother gave him authority to speak with us to maybe help move along but only to have Dr. Finkelstein to elect to not speak with the beneficiaries anymore which is his legal right.
