Very friendly, they still pump your gas for you! Good for a quick bite from the grill

If you have a favorite fishing hole, then this is a fisherman's oasis! Dillon's is a nice little…read morepit stop in Buxton! It's stocked to the gills with everything for anglers! Bait, fishing poles, tackle and other fishing gear! You'll also find sundries, emergency gear, sunglasses, hats, windbreakers, waders, sunscreen and anything else you can think of to fill your tackle box, cooler or beach bag! But that's not all folks! Upstairs is a "reel" cool souvenir and beach shop loaded with towels, clothing, mugs, koozies, magnets, jewelry, candles and other great catches!! The nautical section caught my eye and I found an awesome lightly woven turquoise blanket that was just why I needed! They had some pretty decorative pillows, tons of lighthouses, mermaid décor, beachy pictures and signage, and loads of gifts and nautical souvenirs for the tourists and the locals alike! If you love Java... you'll love the coffee bar a latte! The beverage menu is appealing and the coffee concoctions are far from the daily grind! Unless you like a regular cup of Joe, they have that too!! So if you're in Hatteras, stop in Buxton and give this one-stop shop a gander! You'll fall for it hook, line and sinker!

Looks like a great spot for fishing gear, but their coffee is terrible. Dillon's corner has a huge…read morebanner out front advertising their espresso bar, so I came in for a coffee. Staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, their coffee was just awful. Their cappuccinos were made with 5oz of "espresso" pulled that is completely over extracted from a pre ground pod, topped with ~2oz of extremely scorched milk. Seriously the worst cappuccino I've ever had. And it was $5 per drink. If you need bait, fishing gear, or anything else, this might be a great spot, but if you see the giant banner advertising their espresso and think of coming for a coffee... steer clear.

I didn't realize there was a store wide sale of 50 percent off and they were going to be flooded with shoppers. But that was ok We stepped to the register area in the ladies section of the store, stopping at the register on the left when facing the check out station - Before I could get beyond we would like to make an exchange the associate we were speaking with turned , called another associate over and with the most sarcastic tone of voice and eye contact said: We have another exchange. I'm confident without a doubt she had a long day but her attitude and tone were completely unnecessary. I've been stopping by The Neuse Sport Shop for many years and have never had a less than positive encounter with any other associate. I completely understand seasonal help is essential during the holiday season but basic courtesy isn't a trate the store should have to teach. Maybe associates should be reminded to treat each guest as they would like to be treated and let their personality shine as bright as the day they were interviewed / hired for the position. As it ended up, after looking around we didn't make the exchange , we'll try the Cape Carteret store . *The associate we encountered had below the shoulder, thicker, dark hair that was parted down the middle. I'll end on a kind southern statement that speaks volumes : Bless her heart . . .

Ordered a less expensive inshore rod shown as in stock, plus some lures to make total over $100 for free shipping. Rod order was cancelled not in stock. Received the lures. Now I'm afraid to order a rod plus enough other items for free shipping. So I ordered another rod shown as in stock, but have to pay shipping. Waiting to see if this is also cancelled.
