It's too bad, but Alghero has beaches but lacks parks and playgrounds for little children. This is more of a scenic garden than a playground with slides. It is pretty spacious and right across from the Port of Alghero walking towards the old city center. There is plenty of shade with all the pretty trees and benches to sit on to get a break from the summer heat. We've brough along our own toys and balls, this helps to pass some time on those not so nice days where you want to skip the beach, but you have little ones who don't want to be couped up inside. read more
