They won't always have your size, and may not be able to get it. Overall, the business is a mail order or catalogue shop, and the clothes tend to be really nice - and not your run of the mill ready made clothes. They do offer some footwear, and they will exchange or accept returns if the item you've picked is not quite right. I find the articles to be mid-range for prices, but the sales are good,

In fact, they do not offer 4L bags of milk, at all - ever. They've got competition across the street (look up Seaway), which is a larger store. There's a bigger SDM in Brockville, if you don't mind the drive, which I did not feel like today. They were advertising all kinds of PC points this week, starting today, but they had half the products I was looking for. Lots of empty shelves, too. And discounted items were not all labeled. However, 2 of the items I picked up were better prices than indicated on the shelf, so I picked up a few points. Still, I am glad they are in town.

She tries hard to please!! I'm so glad there's a local yarn shop!! And now to get knitting :-) !!

It's a bit like a thrift store with a little of everything, and a bit like a hardware store, with a selection of oilers, sinks, vanities, and kitchen cabinetry. I've signed up for their Facebook group page, and they post pictures when new items come in. This is a good way to lure people in! They have a lot of useful items at very good prices, and since it's resale, based on donations, they don't change tax. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful. When they don't know the answers to your questions, they ask for assistance and get your answer! It's a large store, located on hwy 29 heading north out of town. I had an oil change done last week on my car at the Prescot location. A few days later, I noticed a…read morepool of oil on my cement floor in my garage. I checked the amount of oil and it showed 50%. So I headed back over to Canadian Tire in Prescot and left the car there over the weekend as they had no mechanic. So yesterday went and got my car without Canadian Tire knowing. It was still in the garage but not on the hoist and they told me it was the drain plug seal and that they did a complete new oil change but for some reason they could not have the gauge amount show full so the mechanic says he added an extra litre which then registred 3/4 full. I have an electronic gauge. Anyways, it did not make sense to me so when I got home I opened the hood and noticed oil residue all over the upper left side of the car. So no way that would be caused by the drain plug. I think the young lad who did the oil change did not secure the oil filler cap properly and the engine pressure caused oil to escape. So got lied to my face by the mechanic and the manager. For what reason, I'm not sure. STAY AWAY!
