*KAREN ALERT* I had to pay my utility bill via Western Union and there was a line of a few people that lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. When it was my turn, I had lost my cell phone reception to give the customer service girl with the weird eyebrows my account number and there was more people behind me so I didn't want to make them wait longer so I suggested to the girl with the weird eyebrows that I will go outside and get better reception and come back to her and she told me that was fine. I come back inside after a few minutes and there were MORE people waiting in line, so I walked to the customer service desk and was going to wait until the person standing in front of the girl with the weird eyebrows was done and the old lady started yelling at me saying there was a line and to get back there. I told the old lady I was already here and was waiting and the girl told me to come back. The lady told me, "Yeah, to get BACK in line." I told her, I'm not doing that and I wasn't jumping in front of you. I was waiting for the girl to help me when she could do so." The old lady told me SHE was waiting in line over there (wherever that was) to get in this line. The old lady then asked the girl with the weird eyebrows to speak to a manager and then she threw her hands up and said, "There! Now You Go!!" and I told her, "I will!!". I told the old lady, there always has to be a "Karen" wherever I go and she didn't respond. I suppose she was done yelling at me thinking that she "ate". I told the girl with the weird eyebrows, "Thank you for backing me up, you know you told me I could come back." And she responded, "Yes, I told you to come back.....and wait in line." I told her, "You didn't say that part about getting back in line. She then replied, "I'm sorry". At this point, after the old lady spoke to the manager, the manager came behind the customer service desk and started helping the other customers in line. Like, why did it take that long for the girl with the weird eyebrows to get assistance at the desk? Why didn't the girl with the weird eyebrows ask for backup assistance when the lines were so long? This is not the first time that I have had other customers get very rude and yell at me when I am in the store. I do not know what the problem is with this Giant location other than the customers who shop here are weird and a bunch of Karens. Men included. read more

Last week I bought some Giant brand bacon that is absolutely disgusting....90% col fat and little meat and there is no way to complain unless I bought it thru online order...wtf. read more

Before the Giant of Hatfield opened, this was my go to Giant. Much like other Giant's it has decent products, good employees, great prices and a decent layout, and I'm only ever in here to use the Coinstar or to pick up a few things if I'm in the area. I'm not a huge fan of the parking lot, especially when it gets busy there is one way in or out which can make things feel congested especially when most of the spots are full. There is a light to exit the shopping center though, and being off of Main Street for Souderton and near Route 309 helps too. I'll keep stopping by every once and a while , it's not the best Giant but it's far from the worst. read more

Last week, I was grocery shopping at Giant when I noticed a lady inspecting my car, getting back into hers and pulling forward out of the 2 spots she was originally parked in. (One of the parking spots was mine). I told an associate Tom (who was kind and helpful) the situation and asked if there's a way to check the camera to see if my car was hit. He brought me to the manager on duty Kirk. Kirk heard my situation and began to laugh. We all walked to my car while Kirk was asking me if I was serious about what I saw. We came to an understanding how car owners may not know when there car has been hit and I asked Kirk to check the cameras. He was hesitant to do so but he "did". He went into his office as I waited outside the customer service area for over 25 minutes. I left my name, email, and phone number with an employee at customer service asking them to have Kirk give me a call back. I have heard nothing. Kirk was rude, ignorant, and sexist towards his employees and myself. I watched how he treated his employees and was not impressed. Pushing and shoving his way through people is not the way to gain clientele. I was a frequent shopper at this giant and I will continue to boycott until I see something is done with Kirk or the attitude at this establishment. read more

Went shopping here tonight...it was a good night to shop, not too crowded because sometimes it is super crowded and not a lot of space at this store, however tonight was good. I got what I needed to get almost everything was on sale, however I'd like to see more selections of energy drinks, but that's just a preference I can't have it all. Deli and Seafood are my 2 fav departments here!!! Good Starbucks in this store, too! read more

Wasting lots of very hard earned money with bad cod Thursdays beware. All else is great!

I shop here because they have a few items that I can't find anywhere else. The produce is hit or miss - today I needed to buy onions and there was only one lone onion in the bin that wasn't rotting. Yuck! They are frequently out of the same things week after week. You would think a company this large would get daily deliveries. I've gotten a complaint from one cashier about the turnips I was buying and another time one of the cashiers complained that I had twenty-six items in the twenty-five items or less line. Really???? I've also had to put up with baggers that put chips, lightbulbs and other crushable or breakable items at the bottom of the bag, then put heavier items on top. Nothing like a bagful of crumbs! And the prices aren't that great either. Now they have a creepy robot roaming around the store. One word of warning: Make sure to go to the bathroom before you shop here. The bathrooms here are beyond filthy. read more

-Half of the carts hobble around on broken wheels. -They have crammed the store isle full of useless end caps so much so that you can't get through isles. -Consistently out of stock of the same items week after week. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to buy an item and I have to go to a different store. -Produce is terrible, not fresh and very limited. -Don't buy anything Giant brand either, some they import from China and the rest tastes awful. Hard Salami tastes like salty Bologna. read more

I Was finally upset enough to the point of writing a horrible review this is my first review never thought I'd be one of these "complainers" so lets begin I bought produce to make a Mexican lasagna lets start with the the onions, I went to cut them to sauté and the were brown in the middle. I thought that maybe I just picked a bad onion, but no the 3 onions I purchased on that occasion were all sprouting and not edible. Next great piece of "fresh" produce were the jalapeno peppers that I cut into halves...there were bugs in the actual peppers that looked like ticks with a long nose...can't eat those. Finally the avocados I bought seemed ripe, not too soft but softer and they were browning in the middle and the core was beginning to rot..I have never seen this before. I don't mind paying for food but when your pay a high price for something that is already rotten I'm irritated. This particular trip I spent 193 dollars and change. This is ridiculous and outrageous when I could have spent the 5 min to go to the brand new Weiss market down the street or to the Wegmans 20 min away. Will be doing this from now on. I live 1 mile from this Giant and will continue to avoid it for future grocery store visits. Very disappointing. read more
