I had brought in my prescription sunglasses, but left my clear glasses in my truck. They said they needed my glasses to do a "trace." I received a text from my job and didn't have time to go to my truck and come back. They said I could come in after work. Around 6 PM I brought in both pairs of glasses. The woman on duty was Tam. She looked some stuff up on the computer, then took my glasses into the back area, out of my sight. She came back, then disappeared with them again. After I paid for my new lenses, she tried to return my glasses in a case. I didn't want or need a case. I put them on and walked out to my truck when I realized the frames were broken on my regular, clear glasses. They were broken when I took them in. In my opinion, Tam broke my glasses, then tried to pull the wool over my eyes by returning them in a case. It was either intentional to coerce me into buying new frames or accidental. She tried to deceive me, regardless. I will never trust Walmart Vision Center again.

2027 can't come soon enough. Cranberry Wegmans opens…read more On a business trip, put in a bakery order several days ahead of time. Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

I have heard my family talk about Wegman's for years but this was the first time I was in town and…read morewent for myself. I found it to be quite a good store, with everything you could want: my weird health-food desires like coconut flour and buckwheat groats (that I usually have to visit specialty stores for); pharmacy supplies; lots of pre-made food; diverse international offerings; plenty of organic and pre-cut produce; flowers, etc. Despite it being my first time, I was able to navigate it without too much difficulty. When they were out of green onions, a friendly worker was able to refill the bin quickly for me (and direct me to the spacious, clean bathrooms). They have tons of checkout lines, only a couple were open with humans; and they have lots of self-checkout too. I mean, it's just a grocery store, but it's a pretty good one!

This…read moresmall-town grocery store offers a variety of food staples in addition to homemade baked goods such as delicious whoopie pies. The focus of this review is on the butcher shop, which is a high-quality operation that is not found in most major chain stores. The butcher area offers a good selection of hand cut meats, homemade sausages, and everything else one would expect from a professional butcher! Don't expect mass produced and packaged meats here because their fresh cut meats and poultry are amazing! The main reason we drove out of our way to stop by Wilson's was for their homemade hotdogs! While eating at Shy Bear Brewing recently we loved the gourmet hotdogs they were serving. These hotdogs were plump, flavorful, and had that snap when biting that most mass-produced hotdogs do not have. When asked we were told that Wilson's Meats makes all their hotdogs for them! These hotdogs were the best I've ever eaten and we knew we MUST have these for our 4th of July picnic! If you want high quality meats and some of the best hotdogs around, stop by Wilson's Meats. Be sure to grab a few whoopie pies while you are there!

I refuse to buy hamburger from the corporate "giants" after shopping at Wilson's. You may pay more, but it is well worth it. Also, there is more to Wilson's than the butcher shop/deli counter. There is also the cheap candy box. In it, you will find all sorts of classic varieties of old school treats at a the prices you might have had as a kid. There are local treats such a whoopie pies and Asher's Peanut Butter eggs when in season. They carry local PA Dutch favorites such as homemade chicken corn soup. They also carry a great selection of local spices and salad dressings. The Wilson's own and operate this store themselves. In fact, you will see Steve back behind the deli counter quite regularly. Stop in, have a treat, and enjoy.

The store associates sanitize the carts immediately when they are returned. There are also wipes located near the entrance and hand sanitizer. I liked that they control how many people enter the store. It allows for social distancing and makes you feel more comfortable shopping and looking at items before deciding whether to purchase or not. My friend had to speak with the manager about a previous purchase and the manager was very nice and accommodating.

Fast forward to me moving to Hershey for grad school from my delicate life surrounded by Trader Joe's, Sprouts, etc in the bosom of Orange County, CA and I was shocked, saddened, and defeated. This wonderful area that I now called home had two Trader Joe's "in my area", one being in Towson, MD and the other being in Philadelphia. Luckily, as I traveled back home to California during holidays, I'd be lucky enough to fly into and out of one of those airports so I'd make it a ritual to stop by TJs on my way home as long as I flew in before they closed. Still though, going to TJs once every few months isn't ideal. So imagine my delight when I'm driving to my clinical rotation site at State College, and what do I see - Trader mutha$#*in' JOE'S. I'm only up here for 5 weeks total, but I've gone here every single day so far. I've probably spent about $500 in the last four weeks. I love this place. It's exactly how Trader Joe's should be: bright, inviting, clean, and with an excellent selection of food and goods. Hell, even the staff is as jovial as the ones back home, which is proof that they have incredible system-wide hiring practices. If you're in the area, go to Trader Joe's. Just bask in the glory of the wonderful stuff that they have. Pro tip: if you're going to do one thing to elevate your charcuterie game, make it the herb-crusted Chèvre goat cheese and grab a jar or the hot and sweet pepper jelly. Crackers are your choice. But do yourself this favor. Cheers!
