Items removed from walls were not rehung, furniture was not fully set up, and much of the crew stood around waiting for payment while the job remained incomplete. To make matters worse, I paid over $2,000, and the company ultimately refused to return to finish the job. I was left with three truckloads of my belongings still at the house, which I then had to move myself. The movers themselves were polite, but the planning, coordination, and follow-through from management were extremely disappointing. Overall, I will be looking to book this company again if I need to move again! First off, I was able to schedule over a week in advance easily with these guys. I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). There are a couple of things I want to mention that I wasn't aware of at the time of the visit. First, McCoy is a cash only business as of the time of this review. I wasn't aware of this, but we were able to make things work via Venmo. The other thing I want to point out is that while McCoy was able to take a large amount of items, there is an upcharge for chemicals. That being said, the amount he charged for the chemicals was fair, and I was happy to pay. I have a lot of junk I want to dispose of, so I will hire him again in 3-4 months. I recommend his services.
