I highly recommend that you make a reservation and stick to your assigned time because we tried to come early since we made it into Milan earlier than planned and they did not have anything available for us because they were so busy, so stick to your reserved time. The staff was great and very helpful. They even recommended some dessert we didn't plan to order. The restaurant was very busy and packed that Wednesday night. We tried a lot of different items on the menu, mostly the different types of dumplings. Our favorite dumplings were the soup dumplings, which tasted excellent and I loved being able to inject them with the "soup" (black vinegar with soy sauce). The pork water dumplings were also a favorite due to the burst of flavor. We also had the Xiao mai dumpling (shrimp, pork) (1 pcs), Har Gow prawn dumpling (1 pcs), and Meat & cabbage dumpling (pork backchoy) (1 pcs). The Ta Hua style fried rice (meat & shrimps) was delicious. The rice was cooked perfect, the shrimp tasted so good and everything was prepared so well. Two of the assorted homemade desserts we had was the cheesecake and the tart. Definitely recommend.

It's difficult to judge a Chinese buffet in Italy, because there are very little competitions and…read morefrankly, you're in Milan! But it's easy because I'm a former Chinese buffet expert so I can break it down to you: there are some good items here, many average ones, and some really horrific. Good ones to try: large shrimp, beef, or anything that is from the grill area. Their fried rice was above average (but don't fill up on that since you'll get full really quickly). Seafood salad (by the salad bar), pineapple (in season) and stir-fry shrimp were also good. Average: everything else, minus the horrific ones below. Horrific: sushi (not as fresh/cold as I'd like), any of the dim sum items, stir-fry section (not to be confused with the grilled section, which you don't choose sauce), teriyaki chicken (overcooked), spare ribs (overcooked) Having said that, $20 euro per person isn't that bad, considering the variety of things you can get. Pro tip: even if you put 6-7 large shrimp on your plate (from the grilling section), they will only bring you 3-4. So separate them into multiple plates with something random (example: if you want 7 shrimp, put 3 + slice of beef on 1 plate, and 4 + slice of chicken on another plate). Pro tip 2: gelato is $1 more

Last Saturday, Finally, we could manage to book a table. The restaurant inside is designed to look like an old style street of a chinese town, and you may feel to sit on a stool and eat typical food in the middle of a chinese food market. I had Hunan Tofu with rice and vegetarian and meat steam dumplings, and the taste was great, original chinese. My friends had dan dan noodles, very spicy but also very very good, and vegetarian soup noodles. As drink, 66cl Tsingtao beer (not expensive at all) and thailandese beer (which I forgot the name). Let me start by saying... this is more like an adapted "Italian Chinese" restaurant. Yes, it's…read morelocated in Chinatown... probably created this hood by a non-poc to identify the Asians. So, we were craving Chinese food after a few nights of pasta, panini, more pasta... looked up Chinatown and walked around. It was a Sunday... and there was a street fair... lots of little stalls selling treats... I had fishballs, egg waffles... and we landed here at Jin Yong for dinner. We got a bunch of food: -oysters... I didn't have any... but friends had it.. it was questionable. Not sure why they ordered oysters in a Chinese restaurant lol -braised bamboo shoots - love this!!! -snails (teeny tiny... can't even really enjoy it)... please add stronger green long peppers and more sliced ginger. -sliced beef w/ chives... please sautéed the beef with fried garlic, and season w/ oyster & sweet soy then toss the chives for 5 seconds! Otherwise it will be like this watery mess you served us. -Ong-Choy - this one is ok, maybe add sliced chili and fermented bean curd -the noodle (think this was a Taiwanese dish) needs rehab... it was awful. No flavor whatsoever, sautéed the ground pork! Then toss with sauce! Please -clams... This was a confusing dish.. either make it as dry sautéed in black bean sauce or in broth... no semi-brothy. Not good flavors. -the fried rice... was so sad... the flavors were fighting each other... too oily. No "wok hay" whatsoever. It's a very sad dish. Overall... the food is about 2.5-3 stars, I feel like the chef lacked passion for the food. Or perhaps... that's what Italians want for Chinese cuisine. Just like Americans want their chicken broccoli... who knows. Being generous with 3 stars bc of the bamboo shoots. Ciao.

They first asked if we have a reservation and I said no and they got very upset about it. Even though the restaurant was almost empty. It has good food but the food took way too long to be considered worth it. This place is nothing special, and Chiara Ferragni's blog belied the fact that it is OVERpriced and SLOW! Based on the Internet reviews, we thought this restaurant would be fabulous, trendy, and reasonably-priced. Wrong! Menu reads mouthwateringly good but then you are disappointed because the portions are the size of half of an appetizer in America! I would've enjoyed larger portions for a lower cost at a lesser known restaurant over this place- and the margaritas are NOT alcoholic enough. If I'm ordering a drink.. I want a drink. Lol. Wouldn't go back, but the food, despite being small and overpriced, tasted pretty good... If you're not worried about money or time, this one's for you... I got the vegetables in oyster sauce, shrimp dumpling soup, and chicken, and these 3 combined were still not as big as a regular APPETIZER portion in America... Crazy! Also got water and margarita... Totaled to €50- not worth it at ALL. Had a great night out with friends, but certainly not because of the restaurant...
