I contracted to have 4 integrated LED fixtures changed and 38 LED bulbs replaced with the old ones…read morebeing recycled. I received a quote of $700 for the job from another company that had no references or website but went with Above All because of the Yelp guarantee. Above All quoted $1200 but I managed to bargain down to an outrageous fee of $950. Now I see that I should have gone beyond the Yelp rating to see this one as I definitely have Buyers Remorse. A friendly, but clumsey man careened into my apartment who had no idea how to change the LED bulbs. Consequently, he crushed one of my gorgeous lampshades, which he promised to replace. He also left 12 of the 38 old bulbs that he was supposed to recycle scattered around my apartment and in the building lobby. Plus I was sweeping up from the fixture replacement for days--plaster everywhere. I never heard a peep from this man about the lampshade replacement and when I contacted him on several ocassions, he blamed the problem on the lighting store salesperson, who had nothing to do with breaking my lampshade. Hire and overpay at your own risk!

Our business relationship started out fine. They did a nice job. However, once there were issues, I…read morecouldn't get anyone on the phone for a few months. Since I was busy, I didn't call a lot. But I left messages with no response. I finally called one day from a different phone (I didn't even think of it at the time), and John picked up finally. I explained to him what was going on. He said he logged into my system and could clearly see there was an issue. He said he would get right back to me. That was 4 months ago. I have called several times since with zero response. During this time I have encountered a total of $800 worth of electric bills that I shouldn't have had to pay has a system been properly fixed. I had to call another company and was under the understanding that everything was under warranty. It's not. Turns out what's covered is the actual panels but not the labor. The company that installed them as responsible for the first 10 years. That's why they don't want to call back because they have to now do the actual work. So now I had to reach out to another company. It was almost $300 just to get people out and properly diagnose the system. I'm also going to have to pay for new installation on the panels. You can bet there's going to be a lawsuit and a call to consumer affairs. It's really sad that a company can't even stand behind their own work and ignores you. Not the company you want to be using.
