A special shout-out to Mona, who was absolutely fabulous and made me feel at ease. The entire team was wonderful, which isn't always the case at doctor's offices, and it made such a difference. I went to this pain management practice for 3 herniated cervical discs. The pain was so intense and…read morelasting that I would wind up in the ER, vomiting. My PCP wrote a referral for pain management and this was the first practice that didn't treat me as a drug-seeking addict. Not only did they treat pain stemming from this cause, but also from a hereditary bad lower spine. There were tests, which also discovered tumors in my thyroid. Without this, I would never have gotten them biopsies. So far so good. They tried epidurals and nerve blocks, which did not work for me, and I wound up with prescription pain management. No more ER visits. I was able to sleep lying down for all but the rare, intense, breakthrough pain. But even the duration of this was shortened. Sadly, I moved out of the area and had to seek pain management in another state, where pain patients were looked upon as suspect. It took months to find anyone who would treat me, and would up going cold turkey off the medication I had brought in my move. After several months they decided they didn't want to treat pain patients anymore. They gave me a 1 month supply and told me (and others), to hit the road. This time I weaned myself off the medication gradually, but the pain returned as it left my system. It took 5 months and the intercession of my State Senator's office to find a practice which would treat my pain. So if you find a good pain management practice like Dr. Isaac Kreitzman's, reconsider moving away.

Left work early and got to my appointment 15mins early because I was a new patient and figured they would need some info/run my insurance etc. At 6.30pm I ask the receptionist if it will be much longer she says "yes you have one person in front of you" at which point I pointed out I made an appt and would have appreciated a call if the Dr was running behind so this way I would not have had to leave work early. Needless to say she basically told me if I have an issue let the Dr know. Then 10mins later she tell me the Dr wants me to do a breathing test, to which I ask well the Dr has not seen me yet so how would she know?? Anyway, I go into the test room and recognize the woman who is performing this test as the one that had left 20mins ago and just returned from McDonald's!!! So while she was getting her coffee break I was waiting in the office like an idiot!! So now the visit is complete and the Dr electronically sends my scripts to my pharmacy, they only receive 3 out of the 4.They called all day and no one answered the phone or returned it. So its the weekend and I dont have my rescue inhaler!! For the amount of money spent on insurance this office felt like a Medicaid clinic!! And the last thing that irked me was not only was my co-insurance/copay $200 but I was charged a $5 surcharge because I wanted to use my credit card..who the hell walks around with that kind or cash or checks these days??

We pressured her…read morebecause she had a troubling cough (and smokes) and by the time they caught it she was Stage 4 and died shortly after. Her bedside manner is awful and the wait times ridiculous. As a 15 year old she charged me $50 I couldn't afford for cancelling the day before an appointment . So she's allowed to make you wait for hours but if you need a concession to her extremely strict cancellation policy she's heartless. Despite her always booking way too many patients in a day anyway. It's all about the money for her. If you have Medicaid or Medicare she will treat you like garbage. I've had far better doctors over the years and I will never forget the way she treated me and my family.

DO NOT GO TO DR IRINA KRYM. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor in my entire…read morelife. To start, the lady answering the phone had an attitude all three times I ever called this office. I once called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make an appointment in advance, and she responded with, "girl--okay what do you want me to do??" Nonetheless, I rescheduled for another day. I had a 2:15pm appointment, and after waiting around for a while, I let the front desk lady know that I had to leave at 3:45pm for another appointment. She told me she was unsure if the doctor would be able to see me by then -- a whole hour and 15 minutes later. They only let me in when they realized I was going to leave. You walk in, and they ask you to pee in a disposable plastic cup with no lid, write your name on a piece of tape, and leave it on a desk in the open air. The nurse was nice, but I have never been belittled by a doctor the way I was here. Extremely rude, passive-aggressive, condescending, and arrogant while working in this dump of a place. I've recently moved to New York and came from seeing some of the top doctors in California, but she tried to convince me those doctors didn't know what they were talking about. I proceeded to tell her my conditions and the reasons I came in (which shouldn't make me special -- literally everyone who comes to a doctor is in need of help, so the standard practice should be kindness). Instead, she made fun of my pain and gaslit my conditions. I had to walk out mid-appointment because of Dr. Krym's attitude. I let her know she was extremely rude and that I was obviously coming in because I was in pain and needed help. She kept back-talking until the door slammed on my way out. Don't fall for the fake 5-star reviews like I did. DO NOT GO HERE. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

Wow! Just, wow!…read more Maybe over my lifetime I've just had bad luck with doctors, but Dr Berk shines above the rest. Firstly, I went in and was actually listened to rather than having the Dr wait for me to stop talking. He never interrupted me and let me interrupt him, when I did so accidentally. I regularly feel Dr's don't listen to me. Sure, their training is in medicine and they are the experts, but I am certainly the expert at what I am experiencing. If I feel regularly shut down as a man, I can only imagine how women are made to feel with most doctors. So this first off was an excellent sign. Secondly, he was friendly, upbeat and polite. That's not necessary but a nice touch. On to the checkup. He was methodical. He told me exactly what he was doing. When I told him I thought my BP was a little high on his machine, rather than ignoring me he did a second check to ensure it was correct. He was knowledgeable about my ailments, my medications and I didn't get the feeling he was just trying to rush me out the door to increase his turnover cash. This guy is aces in my books and I changed my primary care physician to him today. I'm angry I didn't find a doctor like him sooner. I've only seen him once and his businessman paraphernalia is a little disconcerting. I like money too but it makes me uneasy. I had to sign a form saying I am responsible for the full final cost. Most doctors I've seen will charge a high amount for the insurance and "forgive" the rest. Gotta say that makes me uneasy as well. We'll see how it goes going forward in terms of how badly it hits my wallet and I will update.

I was running a little late and called ahead of time to inform them. Fortunately I was still accommodated without any issues. Once I arrived and check in then waited in the beautiful & clean waiting for about 5 minutes. I was able to charge my device while I waited which I loved and appreciated. The exam rooms are clean and I had a good experience with the clinician named Julia. She was super sweet and professional. She asked all of the appropriate questions to get a better sense of my health history. Unfortunately the medical assistants there were unable to successfully draw my labs. They tried about 3 times but a nurse did not attempt to draw them unfortunately despite me agreeing to. I was given an outside script to go to a local Quest Diagnostics. Aside from this blood draw "issue", I had a phenomenal experience here. Not entirely sure I will need to return to this location anytime soon. Although this location is easily accessible via the R train, I prefer commuting to the Park location instead.
