Since I now visit Newnan monthly and hang around for a week at a time, I have been looking for a…read moresolid massage spot and think I may have found it at Joy Massage. There is nothing fancy about this spot, it is a little dingy, oversized furniture, dated décor and honestly, that is how I like my massage spots. They offer a variety of massage options at fairly decent price points. My go-to is usually a 90 minute body, but I like to do a combination foot/body from time to time. Both have been super enjoyable here. The masseuse each time was excellent, applying just the right pressure, at the perfect pace to allow you to fully enjoy each moment. Service is solid from entry to exit. They are friendly and welcoming too. Overall, solid find in Joy Massage. Looking forward to my next trip to Newnan!

My husband and I choose the 75 minute foot & body couples massage. Lucy and Helen are absolute masters of their craft. They clearly ask you what pressure you prefer, and then stick to your preferences throughout the treatment. Helen and Lucy take their time, are thorough, and regardless of what number client we may be in their busy day, Helen and Lucy always send us off with a smile and treat us as if we were the only customers of the day. A well-done to Brian also, who is not only a great communicator and a responsive owner/manager, but also ensures every customer is left satisfied. I don't just leave feeling relaxed, I leave feeling renewed and with a sense of clarity I didn't have upon arriving. My husband and I have now added this to our monthly regime as this is not only a nice treatment; it is truly therapy.

She listened, asked questions, and then rather than do what I thought I wanted, she steered me away due to rosacea and recent antibiotics. We are both definitely coming back! My mother in law and I both love getting massages and would say this is the best massage we've gotten especially for the price, it was so worth it, I'm surprised this place doesn't have more great reviews because it deserves it! My mother in law was a massage envy regular and we were going to initially go there but they didn't have availability so fortunately for us we found our new favorite place! It was clean and professional. I was also able to book it less than a day in advance and requested female massage therapists whose names were Eileen and Lisa. I am very particular and prefer a harder intensity massage and Lisa did great! I was also at first unsure since we didn't discuss focus areas but she is very good at her job because she knew which areas needed to be focused on and even kept going back to the area which I loved- for me it is my upper back. We paid $10 each extra for coconut oil which was nice and they also added hot stones which was amazing! So both my mother in law and I paid $100 each since we tipped very well but it was worth it for the deep tissue, coconut oil, and hot stone massage for 60 min. Without our tip it would have been $80. And they were very nice and professional- offered water, as well as, Chinese candy we've never tried! Can't wait to come back soon!

They expressed being on time, so I was and I was so ready for some relaxation. After getting entirely undressed in a room with a door they didn't close all the way I was asked if I could wait 30 min to start because someone showed up for a 30 min massage. After saying no because it was an inconvenience the lady said she would add coconut oil to my massage and said "10 dollars extra", of course I said no. You want me to wait 30 min after I made an appointment to add a service for my inconvenience but charge me for it! Absolutely NOT, is exactly what I said to her. Maybe massages aren't really what they do because there were three women there but I had to wait.

I had received a gift card for Christmas from my kids and I scheduled my first appointment the beginning of August but my kids school orientation was running over and I had to reschedule. I get that it was going to be a percentage of the cost cause the rescheduling was so late. but the first massage was supposed to be $80. DO NOT LISTEN to this advertisement, IT IS FALSE!!! it is the first booking not the first massage. I rebooked for a few days later, and went in for my massage, they were trying to charge me $130 for a 60 minute massage (nothing special and nothing added). they said the $80 is only for the first booking and I had to reschedule so now it is normal cost. I only had $60 on the gift card left because they took $40 when I had to reschedule. I couldn't pay the $70 additional dollars today plus a tip, do to buying school supplies and food. They took the remaining $60's on the gift card ($100 total) and I received no services. I was never told when rescheduling the cost would be more, as it was still my first massage!
