Amazing to be that close to the action in a D1 game. They have concessions but didn't get to try those. They have sponsored contests between time outs and periods so keep you entertained. General admission is on one side and cheaper. A lot families and people of all ages. Reserved seating on the other side is more sedated. This is real college basketball with even Vegas lines. My wife is a CSUN grad and I grew up nearby so go Matadors. Can't wait to return!

When high school recruits are interested in USC, they are brought here to see how recruits are taken care of, from scholastics to athletics. They are shown the tradition and culture of USC Football. Highly recommend visiting/touring.

I have a PE class here at night. It's a really nice field and is well lit at night. It's a rubber…read moretrack so it's not all hard on your knees when you jog. My lil brother and his wife used to run xc and track here and liked the track as well. Bathrooms are okay. Normally they don't have soap, paper towels, or seat covers during the games, but at least they're not all gross. I don't know if the water fountains work, I'm afraid to drink from them and normally bring my own water. The concession stands here during football games are okay and the staff is pretty friendly.

This place and baseball diamonds are phenomenal, unbelievable, amazingly beautiful. It's like playing on a major league field what a rush! They make these young kids feel like all-stars.

Outdoor fields do not have to be dirty, people!…read more Hollywood Sports Park Combat Center is great. There are concrete floors, and they clean out the bbs mid-day so there aren't injuries. The environment is awesome. They have a Combat Center field, and a Scenario Field, and they alternate play, so if you really wanted to, you can play non-stop. Currently Combat Center has a Middle Eastern/ Arabian theme going full with foreign McD's posters shot full of holes. I hear the Scenario Field has a Mid-West theme going. You get a discount for going early on weekend mornings, or if you are military/ industry. I love playing with real buildings, where you can climb stairs, hide behind abandoned cars, and hide behind curtains. It really adds an element to the gameplay. Even the staging area has vehicles and pipes for a military feel. It's also great how they have enough refs to keep games going, constantly. They are good at having game after game after game. I didn't like how they had Scenario games, in the middle, and closed off Combat Center for half an hour, though. I took a nap during this time. It is also a very woman friendly, and kid friendly park. I love seeing female refs, and clean facilities! Great job on being equal opportunity, and representing all groups! I did not enjoy how around 3:00-4:00 the park started getting really crowded, and they started doing campaigns where buildings were off limit. It's really much too crowded to limit where people can hide. It ruins gameplay. Most recently, I went on a Saturday, and the cheating was incredibly bad. Switching fields did not help, and the refs did not seem to know how to stop it. After a bunch of people left because of how bad the cheating got, the ref closed off all buildings. THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF GOING TO COMBAT CENTER. It became UNPLAYABLE because bands were not calling hits. I had experienced team members, and industry members, and there was only 1-3 people on the other team calling hits. Some of us hit some of their members multiple times in the same game, and those people kept playing, and when we complained to the refs, they told us "oh no, them again?" like they weren't sure what to do about it.

The referee was a very chill but professional guy. He allowed us to play a couple custom games towards the end of the night. Any questions or concerns were handled immediately as well. Regulars that come here for pick up and league games are highly competitive but respectful, which makes it truly a place for all levels. Not to mention the staff who are genuinely nice and accommodating that keeps this place running. They have two time slots for adult pick up games 4days a week, which start at 7pm and 8:30pm. I love fact that I could conveniently come by to play pickup after work to get some touches in.

Staff is friendly and informative, and the other huge plus is that parking is free and there's a large abundance of it. :)

If you're scared of trying ballet for the first time as an adult, don't be. The teachers are super nice and supportive, you never get called out or put on the spot. You do get corrected but never in a way that is embarrassing. The beginner adult/teen class tends to lean more adults. Beginner 1 is so friendly, the teachers and peers. A judgment free dance class. Staff is also very pleasant. Honestly one of my best life decisions.

I honestly can't even run a mile and I'm really not in particularly good shape, so we were a little nervous to try at first. You will NOT find a better beginner program elsewhere!! We came to AB with zero knowledge of ballet or any dance background at all, but we've slowly slowly improved in the last year and started taking Beginner 2 classes (yay!). The class dynamic is really welcoming and the students encourage each other. I've made many friends through their program! The instructors provide many helpful corrections and they're are all very kind (even when we're falling all over ourselves in class). Special mention to all the amazing faculty members we've been lucky to study under -- Anabelle, Sara, Chris, Elan, and Crystal!! Extra special mention to Leticia, the friendliest and warmest front of house!
