I went to adrenaline looking to get a second opinion and they said that migration or rejection is due to the piercing itself more so than the person's anatomy. I thought that was interesting and found both places to have a reasonable backing to their explanation (but then again, I don't know that much to begin with). Overall, the experience at Adrenaline was pleasant and there was minimal pain. I give this place a 4 as I think they can be more thorough with explaining their equipment prep procedure and the aftercare for piercing. The two ideas I had were roughly the same price -- and doing some math, I decided on both (two tattoos are better than one!) as for two it was fifty bucks more than one of my older tattoos. Idea one was Fire Walk With Me. Idea two was a stick figure Bride of Frankenstein that my husband drew. I thought idea two would be the one an artist wouldn't want to do, but Felicia seemed so excited to tattoo the stick figure. Felicia was super sweet and super kind. Her tattoos healed great! The vibe of the shop was super chill. Nice big waiting area so I didn't feel like my husband was left somewhere cramped. The waiting area was dim and had nice comfy couches. Not dim in that way to hide things, but shaded and cool. The tattoo areas were nice and lit up but not so much so that you can't close your eyes and relax. Some tattoo places are lit like a dang movie set!

When it was time it was over before i knew it and i feel so beautiful because of them! due to illnesses and meds and injuries I'm a very large woman and i never felt anything but kindness and compassion from them! They treated me as a friend and a human. First time i got that in a long time by any professional and i cannot appreciate them any more than i do. My friends and family think it looks amazing (even the bible thumping ones) and i'm already thinking of my next piercing that i want! Thank you ladies. I'll be back as soon as I can!

He took the time to explain the details to her and reasons why. He also said while he can do the piercing, it would not look the way she intended. He basically took the entire appointment time and ended up with nothing in return. He did not push any sales, and was very genuine and honest about it. She offered to purchase some earrings to compensate for his time and he refused. This is a business with high standards and strong integrity, and they have my full respect. Highly recommend them for this alone. There is metered street parking. Location is in chinatown, so you will see the usual sketchy drug addicts and homeless around - beware. But the staff here keep a lookout for you too and definitely have everyone's safety in mind.

I…read moreresearched a lot of places before coming here, a lot of places, even the tattoo parlor use single use guns, but this place is different in which they used single use needle. During the pandemic, there is no walk-in and everyone has to book online even for jewelry viewing. I was trying to book for the earliest appointment for two people back to back, but it was not available on the website, so I called ahead and Thor managed to find a spot which is one hour apart which I ended up taking. Once we arrived, we confirmed our booking and went straight to jewelry selection. I talked a bit to Thor, that I wanted to re-pierce my second lobe, and if possible I would like to get the third one. He looked at my lobe, and felt around it, and said that second lobe is possible, but not the third one due to the cartilage being to close. I had hard time choosing the jewelry, all of it are gold, and pretty pricy, but I managed to narrow it down to a few. One of the staff offered to hold the jewelry ageist my ear, so I could see how it looks on me on the mirror. After deciding, Thor took the jewelry and sterilised it, then he brought me to the room at the back. He cleaned my ear, and while doing that he asked me if I have any concern or question. He answered all my question, and pierced my ear without much pain. I was really satisfied with the service here, would recommend!

The shop is located upstairs, on Port Moody's high street. The shop is very clean and the staff very professional. After signing a waver form we got to choose which flat back studs we wanted. You get a basic stud with the appointment, for a few bucks more you can get some other. One of the rules is that you're allowed to have 1 person in the room with you (for support if you need it), due to the size of the room. Everything was new and sterile. Libby was great in letting us know what to expect and what we would be feeling. My niece who was pretty nervous didn't even feel the first piercing. After both ears were done, she came out saying she barely felt it. I'm so proud of her! My helix looks great! So happy we had gone here. After all was done and paid, Libby had given us information for the proper and healing of our piercings. What to expect and what not to do, super informative. Something I wish I had known the first time I got my helix pierced. It is a CASH ONLY location, so make sure your wallet is filled.

Paid 300$+ every single time. Most of it was for jewellery which was extremely cheap. They sell it as 14k gold or something but it's definitely not that. And they don't let you have a piercing unless you buy gold jewellery which is more designer then the basic studs. So all in all very basic experience. Wouldn't recommend. Even though you get good service the piercers are still new and inexperienced and the jewellery is trash.
