I decided to scheduled a meeting with them to learn in detail the options offered. My agent Abbie was amazing! I thought it would be a short introduction meeting but after about an hour or more of speaking with her I felt so well informed that I asked her to give me time process all the information she shared. Two days later I called her again to clarify some more questions I had and she quickly scheduled a call to help me. Abbie was so knowledgeable and explained things so well and really cared that I made the best choice for me. She really cared that I made the best informed decision to the point that she told me not to rush that even on New Years Eve she would process my application, so I would begin coverage on January 1st. True to her word, I reached out to her and she completed my application. If you want to have a great customer experience call Abt Insurance and ask for Abbie.

Since this mistake was brought to light, Spencer did not return any of my calls or emails. I then called the office and spoke to Frank who assured me he would take care of it. This happened last year and here we are months later and this issue is still not resolved. Every time I call their office number, all I get is their voice message and despite leaving messages, I've not had not one call returned. They have a portal to which Frank has answered some of my questions but when I messaged him on Dec. 8th to ask about the status of my payment, I've yet to get a reply. I just called this morning again and YET AGAIN, the answering machine came on! Looks like I will be handling this directly with the IRS. Worst service I have ever received from any tax preparer. This is a family run business so you are not gonna get anywhere with Spencer, Frank, or Laura! I am forced to give them a star in order to publish this but that is not because they deserve 1 star.

Working with an insurance agent for the first time has proven to be more frustrating, expensive,…read moreand time consuming than shopping for insurance on my own. My partner and I were switching insurance companies and policies around for our house and cars. The initial experience was great. Rhys was easy to communicate and it sounded like we made the right move. When we wanted to make these updates, I never received an email back. The excuse was that he was on vacation, but there was no automated email to let me know of his absence and supposedly there's an assistant that also access these emails that were left unanswered. Okay, that's easy to overlook. So, I booked an appointment through their website and we made the switch to a combined car insurance plan. We received confirmation in email both our previous policies would be canceled, only to find out a month or two later, neither of them had been cancelled. It added extra time waiting on hold and unnecessary frustration to a task that no one enjoys having to deal with. Not a single acknowledgement of this mistake or apology was offered. I've asked twice now to speak with leadership or administration about this experience, both times I was assured this would happen within about 24 hours and never received a call. I am kicking myself that I agreed to a one time fee for this experience. Save yourself the hassle and find insurance on your own.
