This happens everytime we are here. Today was the worst. Main aisles were blocked my multiple employees with carts who acknowledged but refused to move their cart (with wheels might I add), an employee literally reached behind my daughter and I while I was in the spice aisle with my back against the opposite side, a older gentleman was pushing a cart as if he was in a race against the clock and pushing his way past us (multiple times that trip) to which he ended up ramming his cart into one of the shelves and on our way out of the store there were a few employees in the middle between the frozen aisles and the meat area all with carts off to the side....that wasn't the problem. The problem was the woman who came trying to push past us with the little space that we had to which we had to readjust our cart so we were not hit by her. Highly unprofessional and very discouraging to continue to go back to a place that allows their employees to conduct work in that manner. They endanger the shoppers that are there. If I could give negative stars I would. Get it together!

You really should take a little more pride in them. I did ask a customer service desk employee about a discount since is almost dead and still 19.98. She said all I could do is 10%. Really 18 dollars for a crappy plant with 2 leaves left. It was pitiful terre haute has been marked down for a month and are still taken care of and alive. More worried about cramming as much Christmas stock as you can back there now and can barely get to the plants, stacks and piles of product surround almost the whole plant section.

The store is very well stocked and organized, making locating the specific merchandise you are looking for easy. We have found the store clean and well staffed on every visit. What really stands out to put this location as a winner is the amazing customer service we have received from every staff member we encounter. As an example, this past Sunday, we were traveling out of town and in Jasper. It was early and we arrived as the store opened so my wife could find a pair of Asics tennis shoes she has been looking for in her size with a specific color theme. We had been unsuccessful in finding the exact shoe she wanted in her size in any other store. We did not see a match and were starting to walk back toward the door, and a female staff member stopped and asked if there was anything she could help us find. We told her no, we needed 6.5 woman's shoe in a certain style and they did not have it. She offered to look for us and said at times, customers will put a box in the wrong location. A few moments later she returned with the exact shoe my wife wanted in a size 6.5 and it fit like a glove. The five-star customer service did not stop there, when we went to the counter, the young lady at the register helped us with adding up several Kohl's Cash receipts to give us a total of $25 off our purchase price. The bottom line, we can buy Asics Shoes from any retailer for the same cost. We can also go directly to the Asics website and purchase directly. As a customer, we have many, many choices. We chose to continue to patronize Kohl's because of their fantastic customer service, even if the price is different. Other Kohl's stores should look at this Jasper, Indiana location and work to mimic what they do every day to WOW their customers.

We were leaving for a trip and I needed to run in and get a few things and I go to check out and Judy, the cashier never said "hi" or "did you find everything okay." She said absolutely NOTHING. Which first of all is horrible customer service, someone either hates their job or hates their life. Not sure which. But besides the point, it was rude. Judy proceeded to check me out and the card station froze and I told her what it was doing and she basically told me that I was rushing and I messed it up and when "you have a chip card you have to leave it in the machine or it will not work" it had NOTHING to do with my card. The MACHINE froze, but I guess blaming the customer is acceptable too. I asked her if I could go get cash if that would be easier or if we could use a different register and she looked at me and said "I'm trying to fix it....... (long pause)..... but I'll switch the register. You will just have to wait!" After almost 15 minutes of being blamed and rude glares Judy and I parted ways. Dollar General you've done it again.
